Professional Practices: Assignment 1

The document discusses two scenarios involving professional practices in software engineering and computer science. For the first scenario, the summary advises that if the colleague invented the compiler using company resources and time, then the company has rights to the invention. However, if it was invented outside of work independently, then it belongs to the individual. The second scenario discusses appealing to students to choose a computer science department. The response says to focus on providing the best curriculum and introducing new technologies, rather than unfairly promoting one department over others. The goal should be attracting students ethically and for the benefit of the university.

The only way to appeal to the students to choose a particular department is to make it more

steps:
Legally
Give the moderate admission criteria to students.

Morally
I think morally it is not idea, if I add more attraction on own department other department
have less students and might be not good for university

Ethically
It I ethically right to provide the best curriculum to the department to attract the students
