Ans. (A) 0.32 W. (B) 2W, (C) 16%.: Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman UEEA1333 Tutorial No: 6

This document contains 10 questions about power amplifiers. Question 1 involves calculations for an emitter follower circuit including output power, power drawn from supplies, and efficiency. Question 2 determines the load resistance required for a given output power. Question 3 calculates average load power given supply dissipation and efficiency. The remaining questions ask about general power amplifier performance requirements, differences between classes, bias circuits, transfer characteristics, and a derivation.

(a) the power delivered to the load.
(b) the average power drawn from the supplies .
(c) the power conversion efficiency.
Ignore the loss in Q3 and R.
