This project aims to develop a cosmetic shop management system to improve administrative processes. The system was created by two students over 3 credits under the guidance of an advisor. It uses Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 to organize a database for cosmetic shop administration. Abstract

The objective of this term paper is to develop and enhance the administrative work system for
cosmetic shops, as well as to reduce process. The researchers have analyzed a former
administrative work system, designed the new program, tested and improved it, according to
system users’ requirement in order to efficiently use it. The system was developed by using the
Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 to categorize database for the
administrative work of the cosmetic shops. This system can collect and record many types of data
such as personnel information, product and manufacturers information. In addition, the system is
able to do the inventory check and report daily, monthly and yearly which are purchase order report,
the inventory and circulation.
