Fostering creativity 42 35
ANALYSIS:
My total score is 105 which is lower than that of the mean score which is 107.47 and it belongs to
the third quartile. It states that my problem solving skills, which includes analytical problem
solving, creativity problem solving and foster creativity, are below average and there is a wide
scope for me to increase it. I lack on the ability to examine any situation in detail. Also, my ability
to identify a problem, generate alternatives and make proper recommendations is quite low. I also
need to develop my innovative and creative level and think outside of the box.

their strength and weakness, make recommendations and solve the problem accordingly. I need to
be able to identify the problem, generating alternatives and make proper recommendations. Also to
enhance my creativity level, I can use different effective techniques such as brainstorming, think
more laterally and encourage different work practices.

SCORE: 84
ANALYSIS:
From the analysis of the result score we can see that I have scored lower than the mean score of
72.41. This emphasizes that I have a relatively low innovative attitude meaning a low orientation
towards innovation. I need to be more receptive towards innovative ideas and dealing with
complexities. I tend to avoid situation or projects that involve complexities and risk as well as
openly expressing my viewpoint.
RECOMMENDATION:
In order to develop a better attitude towards innovation, I need to learn to take some risks and think
more openly. I should be more receptive to new experience and take certain risks when I need to.
Furthermore, I need to be more expressive by voicing my opinion and welcome contrasting views
that requires me to think beyond the routine pattern.
Four alternatives exist in each of the items below. You should divide 100 points among each of the
four alternatives depending on which alternative is most similar to you. Rate yourself as you are
right now, not as you would like to be or as you think you should be. No correct answers exist, so
be as accurate as you can. For example, in question 1, if you think alternative “A” is very similar to
you, “B” is somewhat similar, and “C” and “D” are hardly similar at all, you might give 50 points
to A, 30 points to B, and 10 points each to C and D. Any combination of numbers is acceptable,
including 100, 0, 0, 0, or 25, 25, 25, 25. Just be sure that for each question, the total points add
up to 100.
3. I am good at:
___40___ b. Review the results to see how I might be able to improve them

an unevenness on the scores of the different types of creativity. I have scored relatively high on
imagination with a score that exceeds the mean score while scoring below the mean score on
incubation, investment and improvement. This implies that I am more inclined to experiment,
explore and create new ideas rather than sustain, improve or initiate.
