Community
Terrace Ridge School is a community school located in the Terrace
Heights subdivision at 6739 C & E Trail, Lacombe, Alberta, Canada.
Lacombe is a vibrant agricultural and industry-based community with
a growing population. Terrace Ridge School opened in September of
2004. It is a beautiful, architecturally unique facility which has already
proved to be an ideal learning environment for the 429 students in
pre-kindergarten through grade 7, and the staff of 43..
Vision Statement
Terrace Ridge School will create a collaborative,
inclusive community, and use authentic assessment to
demonstrate learning as we prepare our students for
their role in the future.
Mission
Mission Statement
At Terrace Ridge School, we believe “it takes a village to raise
a child.” Our mission is to provide an Excellent Learning
Environment where all students belong and have opportunity
to learn and to develop to their full potential as 21st Century
Learners. We guide children to be empathetic, global citizens
with a deep sense of worth.
