Jamaican Field Service Project 
Music Education Service Learning  January 3-13, 2019  
● Obtained over 44 hours of practicum in a Jamaican elementary school, taught 
grades preschool through 6th grade traditional Jamaican, American, and 
European folk songs and traditional Jamaican drum rhythms, worked with a 
group of music educators to facilitate cooperative lessons, and participated 
in 10 hours of group drumming lessons
