Reason: Explanation of configuration file upload with CDF Load Tool
Technical Description:
Download the TOOL CONFIG. FILE UPLOADER from Hypass Online:
Prerequisites:
Windows XP 32-64 bit, Windows 7 32-64 bit
IFAK driver: avilable in software section of D435 on Hypass Online.
Installation:
• Create a directory on C: named c:\cdf_program
• Create a directory on C: named c:\temp_cdf
• Extract files from zip into c:\cdf_program
Directory c:\cdf_program should contains these three files:
1. ZAPI.EXE
2. cdf_upload_tool.exe
3. CDF Load Program_documentation.docx

Use:
• Copy CDF file downloaded from TRD into c:\temp_cdf.
• Connect IFAK Dongle to truck (X40).
• Launch c:\cdf_program\cdf_upload_tool.exe.
• Into the form , insert Serial Number and press Enter (Figure 1).

The software will search the CDF file in c:\temp_cdf (D435T01401L_01.txt in this example).
If it founds it, the CHK button will be enabled (Figure 2).

After that the software will check CDF syntax and CAN communication.

If check is OK, button GO will be enabled (Figure 4).

Press GO to start upload CDF on truck.

If the upload is successful, the program will reset: the serial number field will be empty and the
buttons will be disabled (Figure 5).
