What advantages do you have that others don't have (for example, skills, certifications,
education, or connections)?
I’m a Person who works with required Alacrity for the Job and make it contagious amongst
the team. I have enough motivation for myself and my team. I mainly believe in Bite Size
Problem Solving Techniques. Trouble Shooting is been always my area of Interest.
Weaknesses
What tasks do you usually avoid because you don't feel confident doing them?
Anything oriented with the ever developing technology, I fear that I’ll end specializing in
that and one day that will become outdated.
Are you completely confident in your education and skills training? If not, where are you
weakest?
I’m Confident of my education and skills, I also believe in continuous learning so that is not a
weakness for me.
What are your negative work habits (for example, are you often late, are you disorganized,
do you have a short temper, or are you poor at handling stress)?
I have very high expectations of myself and of my work colleagues. If something is not done
to a good standard then I usually have to make my feelings known, which sometimes has
not been taken too well by the third party. However, since realizing this weakness I have
taken steps to improve. I still make my feelings known but in a more pragmatic and
diplomatic fashion. I don’t want to ever lose my high standards, but what I want to do is
continue to work on how I deliver my opinions and feelings about standards of work.
Although this can be seen as a weakness there is also a strength here because I will always
give 100% in any work-related role that I carry out. In addition to this I am always looking for
ways to improve myself and believe strongly in continual personal and professional
development.
Do you have personality traits that hold you back in your field? For instance, if you have to
conduct meetings on a regular basis, a fear of public speaking would be a major weakness.
Opportunities
What new technology can help you? Or can you get help from others or from people via the
internet?
NLP- I believe in this Program.
Is your industry growing? If so, how can you take advantage of the current market?
I Specialize in Operations Management, I also understand the Marketing and Financial
Implications through my other specializations. I believe with current shared economy
growing I can leverage my skills to gain a Good Position.
Do you have a network of strategic contacts to help you, or offer good advice?
Yes, My Family is my Greatest Strength, For me everything revolves around my family. So, I
select the people from whom I can relate my life with and take advice from them.
What trends (management or otherwise) do you see in your company, and how can you
take advantage of them?
Pressure is very important to me. Good pressure, such as having a lot of Deliverables to
work on, or an upcoming deadline, helps me to stay motivated and productive. Of course,
there are times when too much pressure can lead to stress; however, I am very skilled at
balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines, which prevents me from feeling stressed
often. For example, I once had 300 Layouts of IFR Revision due in fours week, which was a
lot of pressure. However, because I created a schedule for the team, we approached the
work as bite sized problems and that detailed how we could break down each project into
small areas and completed all the 300 Layouts projects ahead of time and avoided
unnecessary stress.
I react to situations, rather than to stress. That way, the situation is handled and doesn't
become stressful. For example, when I deal with an unsatisfied client during Model Reviews,
rather than feeling stressed, I focus on the task at hand. I believe my ability to communicate
effectively with Client during these moments helps reduce my own stress in these
situations and also reduces any stress/lack of confidence the client may feel.
I also work better under pressure and I've found that I enjoy working in a challenging
environment. As a HSE Engineer being in the Upstream Discipline, whose Go word thrive
under quick deadlines and multiple Studies outcomes. I find that when I'm under the
pressure of a deadline, I can do some of my most creative work by finding the easiest
solutions by bite sizing the problems.
Are any of your competitors failing to do something important? If so, can you take
advantage of their mistakes?
Experiences- I come with my varied experiences across the globe, which I understand
physically, mentally and financially.
Is there a need in your company or industry that no one is filling?
A Vision Personality, that is something missing.
Do your customers or vendors complain about something in your company? If so, could you
create an opportunity by offering a solution?
My Role as a Client Interface Engineer in HSE Action Closeout was really Challenging, the
Deliverable was tagged as a High Risk in the Risk Register by Client. Which is why Project
decided to assign a separate Man Power to this deliverable. I started this activity exactly
after our 60% Model Review which means most of the Engineering Deliverables had already
reached the IFD Stage, so any proposed change because of the Recommendation was a real
nightmare to handle and adding to it the other The biggest confront here was coordination
amongst other contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, involving massive count of people,
who are physically based at different geographical locations. I had around 300 High Priority
Actions to be closed in Each Island. This made the Client even more diligent and they were a
plethora of data as proofs.
Analytical skills are very important when working in engineering, as it’s very important to
question every process and study every design configuration. However, while working on
projects and interacting with different disciplines, communication skills, organization skills
and the ability to link information are really important too. For me the most important skill
is problem-solving – that’s what engineering is all about.
You have to be able to analyses a design or a situation, obtain all of the facts and
information you need from various sources, and use your skills and engineering judgment to
determine an appropriate solution. I love this methodical approach to working – getting a
result at the end is always very rewarding. Seeing the design get built into a functioning
asset is even better.
Threats
What obstacles do you currently face at work?
Generation Gap, this my biggest obstacle working with people who are younger to me.
Are any of your colleagues competing with you for projects or roles?
Definitely, there is a Huge Competition.
Is your job (or the demand for the things you do) changing?
Its Ever Changing,
Does changing technology threaten your position?
Definitely, especially with different buying experiences.
Could any of your weaknesses lead to threats?
No, I don’t think so.
