It provides a simple form to enter a website URL and campaign details, and automatically generates the full campaign URL updated as changes are made. This tool allows you to easily add campaign parameters to URLs so you can track Custom Campaigns in
Google Analytics.

The following table gives a detailed explanation and example of each of the campaign parameters. To learn

Campaign Source Required.

utm_source Use utm_source to identify a search engine, newsletter name, or other
source.
Example: google

Campaign Medium Use utm_medium to identify a medium such as email or cost-per- click.
utm_medium Example: cpc

Campaign Name Used for keyword analysis. Use utm_campaign to identify a speci c product
utm_campaign
promotion or strategic campaign.
Example: utm_campaign=spring_sale

Campaign Term Used for paid search. Use utm_term to note the keywords for this ad.
utm_term Example: running+shoes

Campaign Content Used for A/B testing and content-targeted ads. Use utm_content to
