ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
This written report is not made possible without the cooperation of every group
member. Also, the group would like to thank our instructor, Engr. Jefferson J. Walcien,
for giving us the chance to learn different laws, contracts and ethics that an Electronics
Engineer should know. The essence of teamwork that our instructor taught us is the
main reason how this report was made. We would also like to thank for the support of
our family members as they give us encouragements and words of wisdom that we
applied in fulfilling this report. We would also like to thank our friends and relatives for
their presence in every chapter of this report.

Oath-taking is an act of making a promise and a vow. However, it is not as
simple as that because oath-taking is not just about making a promise. It is about
declaring that promise and vow upon something or someone sacred to the person
taking the oath. Commonly, oath makers call on God to bear witness and bind the
promise they make. This is to create solemnity and sincerity to the oath. Once an oath

make true to their oath are expected to face divine displeasure. Being unable to fulfill
the duties and responsibilities involved in the oath is something that illicit displeasure
and great disappointment.
As stated in the requirements in RA 9292 ARTICLE III, SEC. 22, it is mandatory
and a prerequisite that a successful examinee of the Electronics Engineering Board
Exam of the Philippines should be present in the Oath taking ceremony before he/she
can be registered and issued a Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification
Card. Attendance in Oath taking ceremony is a must as mandated in this section of this
Act.
2. All successful examinees shall be required to take a professional oath before any
member of the Board or any person authorized by the Commission as a
prerequisite to practicing as a Professional Electronics Engineer, Electronics
Engineer or Electronics Technician.

42
In this written report it consists of different articles or sections regarding ECE
Laws and each of these laws consist of supporting laws which are of higher level. This
only means that a newly made argument, order, memorandum or policy is not made
without the presence of the higher laws. The making of a policy is always based on the
higher law or order.

must pay great attention in observing and compliance with the hierarchy of statutory
construction in the making of a law, rules or regulation for further knowledge and
understanding. Knowledge and deeper understanding of pertinent law, rules or
regulations related to a promulgated law governing the conduct and standards in the
Electronics Engineering field ensures the organization of the parties or individuals
involved. The group also recommends that concerned individuals to look after and be
updated for the revisions made for some of the pertinent rules law, rules and regulations
coping with the necessary revisions as technology and modern day advances.

APPENDICES
When needed, my skill and knowledge shall be given without reservation for the
public good. From my special capacity springs, the obligation to use it well in the service
of humanity; and I accept the challenge that this implies.
Zealous of the high repute of my colleague, I will strive to protect the interest and
the good name of any engineer that I know be deserving; but I will not shirk, should duty
dictate, from disclosing the truth regarding anyone who, by unscrupulous act, has
shown himself unworthy of the profession.
As others before me have vitalized and turned to practical account the principles
of science and the revelations of technology and have rendered usable to mankind
nature’s vast resources of matter and energy so do I dedicate myself to the analysis,
synthesis and dissemination of engineering knowledge and practice. And especially to
the instruction of younger members of my profession in all its arts and traditions.
To my colleagues I pledge, in the same full measure, I ask of them, integrity and
fair dealing, tolerance and respect, and devotion to the standards and the dignity of our
profession, with the consciousness, always, that our special expertise carries with it the
obligation to serve humanity with complete dedication.
So help me God.
