The checklist contains 36 statements about learning preferences to which respondents assign a score of 1 to 5. Examples include preferences for writing things down, listening, discussing, and moving around. Respondents then tally their scores in three categories - visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. They identify their highest, next highest, and least used styles based on the totals.
