In January 2004, thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions was awarded the contract for turn-key
supply of two combined Bucket Wheel Stacker/Reclaimers.
The stacker-reclaimers replace two machines previously supplied by a local competitor. They
will either stack the incoming iron ore at 8,000 to 10,000 tph or reclaim it at 2,500 tph and, with
their boom length of 60 m, they rank among the largest Stacker/Reclaimers installed in Europe.

has been designed and manufactured for a heavy duty and safe
operation. Thanks to the new design and tools used, it was pos-
sible to realize the machine’s structural highlight, the bucket wheel
body, which has been made of a single-disk without any additional
stiffening ribs and bulk heads.
