Give your answer in less than 4 sentences. [Hand written is preferred]

1. Why are you interested to be the member of editorial board of Symmetry XIII?

Symmetry is the very prestigious and very reputable Magazine of Our Department. I would be very honored to be
part of once in life time opportunity. My past experience as content reviewer during my +2 for Nepal Police School
Magazine called “Deepika” will also aid for new challenges if I accepted to be a part of team. I’m very much co-
operative and like to work in group which possesses immense challenges.

2. Symmetry XII was dedicated to Dr. John Bardeen. Who is the best physicist to dedicate for next issue of
Symmetry? Give reason.

From Shocking announcement of Nobel Prize winner for 2019 awarded for mostly Study based on Universe and
Cosmology, we can dedicate Symmetry XII to physicist who was contributed his research and won nobel prize in
same field. Hans Albrecht Bethe was a German-American nuclear physicist who made important contributions to
astrophysics and won Nobel prize “for his contributions to the theory of nuclear reactions, especially his discoveries
concerning the energy production in stars". We can dedicate it to him.

3. Do you have experience with editing process?

Yes
Yes I have plenty of past experiences with editing and reviewing content. Previously I was a member of our editing
committee for Nepal police annual magazine called “Deepika” where I had to review content before pushing it forward
for publication. Besides during my Ncell Job as Team Leader, I always have to check any new content and later
aware my teammates about same. Also I have reviewed any feedback and Reports and other necessary content
from my teammates before forwarding it to my seniors. I was listed on top 10 from whole Nepal during essay
competition of Tourism in Nepal by Pakistan Embassy and was awarded my ambassador of Pakistan in year 2012.

4. What is the difference between falsification and fabrication?

Fabrication is saying that data exists when it does not, or creating data out of nothing. Creating imaginary data during
practicals without conducting any experiment is fabrication.

Falsification is altering existing data to make it say something else. Changing values oneself to reduce errors in
practical lab is Falsification.

5. What are 3 ways to avoid plagiarism?

Plagiarism is process of using other thoughts or ideas and contents in personal project without prior permission or
stealing from original author and don't clearly acknowledge the source. There is plenty of ways to avoid plagiarism
which I have listed as below

1. Properly acknowledge the source by introducing and citing it.

2. Use own on thoughts and make students respect other content and encourage them to be creative
by giving feedbacks on how ideas and new thoughts are killed by plagiarism and likely going to
affect them in future.

3. There are plenty of Plagiarism checker software’s and websites which we can introduce them and
ask them to properly check before submitting their work. And concerned officials also should check
submitted work by help of these software’s.

NOTE: All interested fourth semester students can apply. Complete it and send it to me till 5 November 2019.
