STUDENT LED CONFERENCE
Conferences: March 16-30th
Outline Due: March 13th
This week in every one of your classes you will be pulling materials (good and bad) and creating an
outline of talking points for a student led parent conference. Please make sure to look over the
requirements below and communicate with your parents and find a date for the conference and sign up
soon before spots are filled.

Create an outline of talking points to use during my conference
Select material and papers that represent my strengths and weaknesses and what
I have learned from both
Make organized goals in order to show my learning process and achievements
PARENT LETTER
You are going to write a mailed formal letter to your parents inviting them to come to your
conference. This letter needs to be given a minimum of a week prior to the conference. Make
sure to include topics that will be discussed in the conference and how to sign up for an open
time slot.

Dear Parents,
Good Afternoon! In the coming weeks I will be preparing my own student led parent teacher
conference for which I will be compiling my work from this year to show my academic
growth. I invite you to join me on any convenient open evening to dive deeper into my
education successes and achievements. Thank you for your cooperation.
