Sub: Internal and end term examinations of even semester under the pandemic situation of
COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown
Dear Sir
In continuation to earlier guidelines provided vide letter dated 06-04-2020 all affiliated
institutes are informed to observe the following additional guidelines with regards to
uploading e-contents, conduct of midterm, practical and sessional exam, seminar, project and
practical training online:
 To upload learning materials related to lab experiments on their web site up to 22-4-2020
 Branch wise list of students should also be uploaded on website
 Conduct mid-term exams for all even semester courses upto May 1, 2020 in online mode
following the same guidelines issued earlier for conduct of B Tech VIII and VI sem.
 Practical and sessional examination of even semester B. Tech. courses will be conducted as
per the existing practice after the lockdown period is over. However, the internal
assessment of 60% component of practical and sessional should be done my concern
teacher online by online viva and assignments in the form of MCQ for the experiments.
 For B Tech VIII semester, all seminar guides must start collecting seminar reports, do
necessary corrections and submit final report to seminar coordinator along with ppt from
the candidate.
 Seminar presentation be conducted online using any suitable platform. Recording of
presentation must be kept. Department Heads should appoint one examiner for the same.
 All the project guides may allot their projects to the students and if possible students may
work from their home.
 Separate guidelines will be issued for conduction of practical training for even semester
students of B. Tech.
