1) For Step 4.1: The Value of R: 100k Table 2.1: Part A

This document summarizes an electronics lab experiment with two parts. Part A examines the characteristics of a BJT transistor by varying the base current and measuring the collector current output. The results are shown in a table. Part B examines the output voltage from a voltage divider circuit as the top resistor value is varied, observing when the LED turns on. The results are also shown in a table. The document concludes by discussing the key observations and precautions for the experiment.

DISCUSSION:
1) Regarding part A of this experiment , we can say that cutoff and saturation region in saturation
region. The Emitter, base will forward while the collector base will be forward. There is a very
large current value.
2) Part B , we can know that high VR2 the lower Vout(v) , The LED will be on went there is
minimum voltage current.

PRECAUTIONS:
1) Eye must be perpendicular when taking reading.
2) Use digital multimeter for measuring voltage and current.
3) Off the power supply before connecting the component.

CONCLUSION:

1) Regarding A , the higher the bae current , higher the collector current.
2) Then the part B , higher the VR2, lower the Vout(v). The LED is ON when there is minimum voltage
current.
