- then in the right corner global button we can different regions(data center
locatons)

pricing model -- prices for the compute (EC2) are different in diff DC's

go to main portal then go to pricing drop down button then see the prices

-- Availability zones(AZ) - Multiples Dc's in the same geography(region)

select EC2 service and then go to californiya then


we can see differenet zones .

each zone have atleast 2 regions

-- key pair -- username and password - root/administrator but


the password in aws is autogenerated if you want retrieve the
password generated automatically you need to use key pair.
private key which will decrypt the password auto generated.

- right side under network and security we have key pair


click on key pair and enter the name
save the file
- AMI (Amazon machine images):prebuild image which are available
for building our systems

1.standard - free - no additional cost


2.vendor AMI -- standard operating system + application

AWS services are charged on per hour basis


application pricing is also charged on per hour basis

if we want build a system install os and install required app(purchaing software)

but with aws pricing


1.just purchase system with linux + oracle on a hourly billing basis

5.GPU optimized - graphical processing capacity

based on the application choose the above pricing model

and you will at the end of the billing cycle how much we
consumed.
