INTRODUCTION

XXXXXXXX would like to thank Western Delta University for the opportunity to
submit a proposal for the provision of a new wireless network covering the entire
campus at her permanent location. XXXXXXXX a full-service IT services provider
specializing in network installation, support, and maintenance. Our headquarters are
located in Benin City. We support businesses in the following areas:

institutions such as universities and hospitals. We’ve been delivering complex IT
infrastructure solutions since 2007 and we’ll bring this experience to your project
and apply it to your specific business needs.
In this proposal, you’ll find a summary of your network needs based on previous
conversations, our proposed network solution, and associated costs and installation
schedules. This proposal is valid until June,2019. Should you need to extend your
decision past that date, we’ll be happy to revisit this document to ensure all pricing
and installation schedules are accurate at the time of signing.

PROJECT GOALS/REQUIREMENTS

Optimum coverage and performance.

Roaming capability without losing connection.
Internet access across buildings (Admin Blocks, Hostels, Classrooms and
Entrepreneurship).
Ability to access File Server and other services remotely
Portal authentication login using web browser
RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on our analysis of this project we recommend the following;
Inter-building connectivity using underground optical fiber infrastructure
(pre-terminated passive fiber cabling and conduits).
Ensuring capacity by installation of 29 indoor access points within the seven
building locations.
Installation of 4 Outdoor access points diagonally across the open field
between the admin blocks and the hostels for ease of roaming.
Installation of switch and router at Admin block(IT-Centre).
Installation of wireless Lan controller (WLC) at Admin block (IT-Centre)
for ease of configuration, monitoring and maintenance of access points.
Installation of seven access switches in each building.
Installation of seven media Converters in each building.
Installation of Cat 6 Ethernet cables to connect media converters to switches.
Installation of PoE Splitter cables to provide power and Ethernet to the
access points from the switch
Implement network security by setting encryptions
Set minimum signal and data rate thresholds
Mikrotik portal authentication to authenticate users’ credentials through web
browser access
