For the given specification, tolerance in pass band= 1dB, tolerance in stop band=30dB, Ωp= 200
rad/sec and Ωs =600 rad/sec. Determine the order of the Butterworth analog filter.
2. Using bilinear transform, design a high pass filter, monotonic in pass band with cut off frequency
of 1000Hz, αp=3dB and, αs=10dB at 350Hz. The sampling frequency is 5000Hz
Hint: The given filter specification is the required high pass digital filter with αp=3dB,wp=2000π
rad/sec αs=10 dB,ws=700π ,T=2x10-4 sec.
