FERNANDO MATA CARRASCO

He was born on April 20th in 1960. He was born in Delicias-Mexico. He is medium


height. He isn’t tall. He has a short black hair. He studied from 1976 to 1980 at the
Technological and Higher Education Institute of Monterrey. He is 58 years old. He
has 2 children one son and one daughter. He is a responsible person. He is an
Industrial Engineer. He has a Master of Business Administration in 1984 from the
American University. He has a Doctorate in Industrial Engineering in 1990 from the
Ohio State University. He was a member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers
since 1998. He has held various positions in the institute and including vice
president for Mexico and Latin America from 1997 to 1999. He was a member of
several internal committees. He was a conference speaker with topics related to
Engineering. Industrial. He has served as a professor at the American University
from 1983 to 1984. Also, he taught Ohio State University from 1985 to 1990. He
taught Colorado State University – Town from 1990 to 1994, etc. He Received the
Fellow Award from the Institute of Industrial Engineers in 2010 and he received the
SOLA award - Air Products Bi-Annual Dissertation. Award granted by the Institute
for Operations Research and the Management Sciences in 1991. Now, he lives in
Monterrey-Mexico.
