MEASUREMENT OF MASS (WEIGHT)

1) Tell the students about mass and weight.

2) Use Math Lab Activity on page 171.
3) Use page 165 to explain the concept.
4) Classwork- Exercise- 9C
5) Homework- Exercise 9C

Period 4
ORAL TESTING
1) Once the children have had enough experience
with weighing actual objects, they can be
asked to estimate weights. The teacher can
place various objects on her desk and then ask
children to come up one by one and estimate
the weight of these objects.
2) The objects like a water bottle, a notebook and
a pencil box or an orange can be used.
