Operation of Reconciliation for Four
to Six Penitents and an Operant: The

Primary Portion of an Elus Cohen
Working for Group Repentance &
Exorcism.

Trace several radii to form concentric circles; at the North-West, place the
Good Intelligences of the seven planets (deer), with a Sentinel or Senior
Guard (S) in the North; and opposite it, in the South, a Serpent (face with
forked tail), and the Evil planetary Intelligences (black bird) at the
South-West. One equilateral triangle fills the circles, having its angles to
the west, north and south; as well as a second triangle, having its angles
to the east, north, and south. A Word 10 and its candle are then placed
within a smaller central triangle. There will be no other sign or tracing of
characters in this work, and the ones already indicated shall be done with
white chalk, except for the malign ones in charcoal. Each penitent and the
operant will have a candle burning beside him, and will carry it wherever
he goes during the operation. As soon as the operant, occupying the
center, has blessed the apartment and all of the tracings, he and the
penitents, with their candles illuminating it, will go to stand outside the
larger circle; the operant in the west of the apartment, the others in order,
and all facing the center. They will say together or separately the seven
psalms of penitence and the Litany of the Saints: everyone will make their
particular confession and other specific prayers. As soon as each penitent
has finished, he shall enter the circles at the S in the North, and go to
stand in one of the four angles (west, north-west, north-east and east); or
occupy, in turn, all six of the angles formed by the hexagram, if there are
the maximum number of penitents: Only the operant shall be stationed
in the center. Receiving there new strength in the secret prescribed
manner, the operant at his discretion brings to the R+ penitents, in the
angles vis-a-vis them, a pentacle for each one to hold with their right
hand, while they hold their candles in the other. Upon completing this, the
operant returns to the center, faces South, and makes the following
conjuration:
"In the name, O + 10, warning, fear and trembling are given the chief of
evil spirits, and malediction to them, by the Eternal, and by me as a man
of the quality of God's image and likeness. Hurry, iniquitous spirits, to
obey my command, in all the power that is given me through Thee of the
Awesome Name of the Lord (the same) O + 10 (which three times
proclaim). Come, hasten to my orders, both names of 5.…(satan and
barau?) Step out of your southernmost area, and appear now in front of
this invincible circle, which is the seat of power, and is emanating from
the sacred decrees that have spears upon your iniquities, and by which
the avenging and remunerative Lord has submitted the most inferior
power of Earth for eternity. Come to shame, you that are execrable,
submit your demonic power at my feet, to then be, by my animal and
spiritual power, re-chained within your deepest abyss! Yes, this terrible
power I have over you according to my good desire, and according to the
will of Him Who alone is formidable, O, O, O."
Note .... Pronounce thrice the central word towards the angle of the
South, each time stretching to this part the pentagram that is taken into
the right hand to curb the too-hasty arrival of evil spirits, and to have
time to fix, curse, and avert them:
"I urge you (the same two names of 5) by the Triple Essence and the
three eternal words of power that I hold up to you, O A + 10, O B + 8, O
C + 7 by whom, henceforth, Lucifer, Barau, Belzebu, and Leviathan, your
four principal leaders of demonic regions, no longer have any virtue,
power, or authority upon our souls, and those of our human brothers and
our fellow men, in a thousand circumstances of our temporal life, both
animal and spiritual; which is fixed by the ineffable Creator; through
weight, number and measure, as he intended and has done. The Angel of
the Lord God Almighty, O + 7, Senior Chief Guard of the North (the blue
book bears in the margin: O + 7 = Vauvriel), breaks you into as many
parts as the sand is in the sea! Your infernal and tenebral abyss is an
eternal chain to you! And in this horrible situation you henceforth serve
as an immemorial example to all demons and all mortals. Amen."
Note …. To complete the exorcism, the R+ penitents gather in the
Northern angle, flanking the operant’s position in the center and facing
South. In this attitude, they present their pentacles to the South, candles
held in the other hand. As the operant pronounces the sentence against
the evil spirits, the R+ penitents follow with attention, strongly joining
their intent to his.
