 He attended the PALS- IIT Guest Lecture on "

Denoising SEM images " in IIT, Chennai on
26.08.2016.

MR. B. SYED MOINUDDIN BOKHARI:

 He Mentored and completed the Internship

project in L& T Pvt. Ltd., Kanchipuram.

 He got ELITE Certificate for the NPTEL online

certification course for the subject “Principles of
modern CDMA/ MIMO / OFDM Wireless
Communications”, Conducted by IIT, Chennai.

 He guided & submitted the innowah project

and went for the final submission in MAMCET.

 ONE DAY STATE LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM
ITECS’17:

The ITECS’ 2017 National level symposium was conducted

jointly by ECE and CSE department on 11.02.2017 and is
started with Invocation by 10.00 AM with the inauguration
of the chief guest Mr.F. C. Vijay Chinnaswamy, Assistant
Manager, Wind Farm (Quality), GAMESA Renewables Pvt.
Ltd., Chennai, the Guest of Honor Mr.Sethupathy Bala
Krishnan Alumnus / MAMCET., The Director, Master Group
of Institutions, Principal of MAMCET, HoD’s from other
departments, Staff members, Students and Participants.
The objective of this symposium is to motivate the technical
skills of the students and to enhance their ideas in the field of
Electronics and Communication Engineering. So that the
following events were conducted for motivating the students.

 Paper presentation

 Circuit Debugging

 Quiz,
 Dumb C and
 Treasure Hunt

The first event was the Paper Presentation event,

headed by Mr. Mohd. Wasim / AP / MAMCET in the
Morning session. Out of 10 selected participants from
various engineering colleges across the Tamil nadu, 2
Papers got selected and honored with cash prizes. All
the presentations are highly innovative in the field of
Electronics & Communication. The other events are
conducted in the afternoon 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

After completing the feedback session from the

participants, the Prizes for the winners (including shields,
certificates and cash prizes for honoring) were distributed
by our Principal / MAMCET, HoD/ECE and HoD CSE.
Finally the function is peacefully ended with the National
Anthem.

 GUEST LECTURES ORGANIZED

 MR. SETHUPATHY BALAKRISHNAN, ALUMNUS/ MAMCET & Mask Design

Engineer Intel Technology private Limited, Bengaluru, gave the guest lecture on
Analog VLSI testing for IV Year ECE Students. 28 Students were benefited
through this guest lecture on 13.02.2017.
  MR. T. L. Kannan, Project Manager, NEO TECH TRANCE, Trichy has given a
guest lecture on 04.02.2017. II and III year of ECE Students were benefited by
this guest lecture

 MINI PROJECT EXHIBITION (E-CRAFT ’17)

The ECRAFT 2017 department level mini project competition was conducted by the association
of ECE department on 18.02.2017. The competition is started by 12.00 p.m.

The objective of this competition is to motivate the

technical skills of the students and to enhance their
ideas in the field of Electronics and Communication
Engineering.

Project competition is headed by

Vice Principal, M. A. M College of
Engineering & Techno logy, Head of the
Department & staff members of ECE
Department.

Mrs. A. Mary Beula, Associate Professor, EEE

Department, M. A. M College of Engineering &
Technology, acted as a judge for the project
competition. Totally 15 projects were presented
 by the students from 1st, 2nd, 3rd year of ECE Department. Out of 15 teams 5 projects are
selected and honored with prizes.

Finally the competition was ended by 2.45P.M.
