1) In line test - according to IEC 60146 –transformer (4.

4MVA) + rectifier (IPH):

- Measurement of short circuit impedance of transformer


- Open circuit test
- Voltage Regulation test
- Current balance test
- No-load losses, load, temperature rise and loss measurement test
- Short circuit test (short times withstand current)

2) Type tests according to EN50329 and IEC60076 (5MVA – TMC, 4.4MVA – TBA 1):

- Temperature rise test (overload class VI for 4.4MVA , 5MVA -special overload – 100 %
continuously, 137,5 % - 2,5 hours, 300 % - 1 minute)
- Lighting impulse test (4.4MVA)
- Noise level test (4.4MVA)

3) Special tests (5MVA, 4.4MVA) EN50329 and IEC60076 (TMC):

- Measurement of commutating reactance and inductive voltage drops (part of routine test
by calculation method)
- SFRA test

4) Routine tests on all the units according to EN50329 and IEC60076 (TMC):

- Visual inspection
- Painting and external visual inspection
- Device operation, functional, wiring, and interlocking check
- Resistance measurement of all windings at rated voltage tap and all other taps
- Measurement of voltage ratios and phase displacement at rated voltage tap and on
max/min taps
- Measurement of short-circuit impedances and load loss
- Measurement of no-load loss and current
- Applied voltage test (Separate-source AC voltage withstand test)
- Induced voltage withstand test
- Auxiliary wiring insulation voltage test
- Partial discharge test
