Artificial intelligence (AI) involves the study of cognitive phenomena in machines. One of the
practical goals of AI is to implement aspects of human intelligence in computers. Computers are
also widely used as a tool with which to study cognitive phenomena. Computational
modeling uses simulations to study how human intelligence may be structured.
Artificial intelligens is not jst about intelligent machines but also about intelligent computer
programs
(((((( There is some debate in the field as to whether the mind is best viewed as a huge array of
small elements (i.e. neurons), or as a collection of higher-level structures such as symbols,
schemes, plans, and rules. One way to view the issue is whether it is possible to accurately
simulate a human brain on a computer without accurately simulating the neurons that make up
the human brain.)))))
Strong artificial intelligence (strong AI) is an artificial intelligence construct that has
mental capabilities and functions that mimic the human brain.
Strong artificial intelligence is more of a philosophy rather than an actual approach to
creating AI. In the philosophy of strong AI, there is no essential difference between the piece
of software, which is the AI, exactly emulating the actions of the human brain, and actions of
a human being,

But in order for this technological miracle to become true, human kind should learn to
intercept neural impulses and to decode them

((((((The artificial neuron model assumed by Kurzweil and used in many current artificial
neural network implementations is simple compared with biological neurons. A brain simulation
would likely have to capture the detailed cellular behaviour of biological neurons, presently only
understood in the broadest of outlines. The overhead introduced by full modeling of the
biological, chemical, and physical details of neural behaviour (especially on a molecular scale)
would require computational powers several orders of magnitude larger than Kurzweil's estimate.
In addition the estimates do not account for glial cells which are at least as numerous as
neurons, may outnumber neurons by as much as 10:1, and are now known to play a role in
cognitive processes.))))) (le info for myself)

Do you prefer new a jobless society where everyone enjoys a life of leisure and
machine-produced wealth? Will we control intelligent machines or will they
control us? Will intelligent machines replace us, coexist with us, or merge with
us? What will it mean to be human in the age of artificial intelligence? What
would you like it to mean, and how can we make the future be that way?
