COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to familiarize the undergraduate students of mechanical engineering with basic
analog and digital devices covering diodes, Bipolar Junction Transistor, Digital systems, Combinational
Circuits and Sequential Circuits with their characteristics and applications.
PRE-REQUISITE: 108113 Electrical Technology

CO-REQUISITE: Nil

RELEVANT PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOME:
The course is designed so that students will achieve the PLOs:
1. PLO-01: Engineering Knowledge: Students will be able to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and
engineering to the solution of complex engineering problems.
2. PLO-03:  Design/Development of Solution: Students will be able to design systems, components, or processes
and design solutions for complex engineering problems, to meet design needs within realistic constraints such
as economic, environmental, social, cultural, health and safety.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES:


Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
1. Understand the basic operation and applications of different analog devices.
2. Analyze combinational and sequential circuits.
