activity
If you made an Easter garden yesterday, take the time to decorate it. You could use plants from the
garden or make paper flowers and baby animals to show new life. If you can find or make an angel
figure, add it to your Easter Altar with a piece of folded white cloth.

Reflection
Jesus is risen Alleluia. All the powers of evil tried to destroy the perfect embodiment of love in
Jesus Christ. They thought they had won but they did not, could not win. Love always wins. Even
when things seem hopeless and dead, love can bring new life. Knowing this can give us the hope
and faith to get through difficult times. It is also, however, a challenge. How can we, as Jesus hands
and feet, bring his resurrecting love to our families, friends, neighbours, communities and our
world? What can you do today to bring things that seem dead to life? Who can you share the
resurrection story with? How can you bring hope in practical ways?
Prayer
Dear God,
Thank you for Jesus. Thank you that he was prepared to die to show us your great love for us.
Help us to understand that cost and give us grateful hearts that want to share your love with others.
Help us to bring your resurrection hope to the world.
We pray in the holy name of Jesus Christ,
Amen
