2.Institute Mission:

excelling through imparting education where students disseminate knowledge in the field of Electrical
Engineering and Technology and promote research work for the betterment of the society at large. Students
should become responsible individual and pursue excellence for themselves, their employers and the
Nation.

5.Department Program Educational Objectives (PEOs):
1. Graduates of the department shall be Electrical Engineers highly acceptable to the industry and
academia.
2. Graduates shall have expertise and acumen in core areas like design, power generation &
manufacturing engineering and be able to work as an individual or in a team to the satisfaction of
employers and blossom into entrepreneurs, scientists and technocrats.
3. Graduates shall have high quality project management & financial management skills and be able
to work synergistically across discipline boundaries.
4. Graduates shall be able to promote industry academia liaison and be able to promote research and
development in the field of Electrical Engineering.
5. Graduates shall be orient towards professional growth either through employment or higher studies
or research and lifelong learning, maintaining ethical principles and human values.
PSO1: Apply principles of engineering, electronics and computer science; physics, chemistry,
environmental science, higher engineering mathematics and laboratory skills for manufacturing,
testing, operation and maintenance of bulk power electrical systems thereby fostering technological
innovation catering to the need of industry.
PSO2: Inculcate design, research and innovation urge in the areas of Electrical Machines,
Control, Drives and Power System.
PSO3: Develop software skills to meet the requirement of service sector, leveraging science,
technology and engineering to benefit human welfare.
