AUTHOR GUIDELINES FOR ENGLISH MORPHOSYNTAX PAPERS

1. Follow the following rules to compose your paper.

2. Compose a paper NOT LESS OR MORE THAN 4 PAGES.

3. The data source of the paper is selected by the lecturer.

4. Select one interesting topic from the two chapters you learnt in the previous meetings.

5. Analyze the phenomenon chosen by using particular morphosyntax theories.

6. NO PLAGIARISM IS ACCEPTED!

7. Compose a paper for exactly four pages (not more or less). The paper consists of:

a. Introduction: (0.5 page). BOBOT 15

Explain background of the study, reason of the study, data source, and research
problems.

b. Literary Review: (1 page) BOBOT 15

State any related theories used to analyze the data.

c. Discussion: (2 pages) BOBOT 45

Discuss your findings and data. Present your data by providing deep analysis. The
analysis refers to the theories employed in the literary review. You can present your
findings on a table.

d. Conclusion: (0.25 page) BOBOT 15

Summarize the whole discussion into brief statements. Try to paraphrase your
sentences to minimize any copy-paste actions.

e. References: use APA system (min: 5 references with publication year starting from
2010) BOBOT 5

Consult your APA file if you are not sure with the style.

a. Time New Roman font 12

b. Normal margin (2.54 cm)

c. Spacing 0 pt., do not add spacing between paragraphs
