Series 1000 Network Accelerator
Series 1000 (Model 1100 & 1200)
Designed to overcome the limitations of TCP when operating over
[VPN-enabled/Encrypted] satellite networks
Simultaneously supports end-to-end QoS for real-time applications, i.e. VoIP.
Provides a configurable TCP Acceleration module, as well as QoS settings
• customers can deploy networks that are both encrypted & accelerated over satellite.
• allow vital QoS information to reach PP or NM to be managed accordingly.
Each Network Accelerator is configured with one or more peer NAs.
Possible to configure direct remote-to-remote NA peers allowing the
deployment of a mesh-like topology. (Still double-hop via hub/star topology)
