COURSE SYLLABUS
Living in the Information Technology Era (LITE) for BSA
Vision: A distinctively strong Christian University integrating Faith, Character and Service in building up and enhancing the quality of life.

foster international understanding and goodwill and support the ecumenical movement.
Institutional Learning Outcomes (ILO): In line with the university vision//mission, the institution is expected to produce graduates who:

Prepare student for the CP licensure examination and to obtain employment in any fields of accountancy such as public practice, commerce and industry, government and education.
Provide continuing development in the field of accounting in order to cope with rapid changes in the accounting profession; and
Produce globally dynamic, competent and ethical professional accountants.
The BSA programs must produce graduates possessing the following, the ability to:
1. Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice (CLO1, CLO3 );
2. Effectively communicate orally and in writing using both English and Filipino (CLO1) ;
3. Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams (CLO2);
4. Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibility (CLO1);
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is intended to give students a background concept and critical understanding of information technology in accordance with the current
generation. Living in the Information Technology Era will examine communication and information technologies with particular emphasis on information
technology and its components and in particular how they are used by Millennials and Gen Z. This course deals with the science, culture and ethics of
information technology, it is influence on modern living and human relationships, and uses for personal, professional and social advancement.
1. Identify various types of information technology being implemented in different levels of generation.
2. Apply technology in various implementation and sector that will benefit and enhance the quality of life.
3. Define Technology, Generation, and Information Technology and explain its importance.
4. Recognize the importance and role of the information technology in various generation.
