This document provides instructions for closing work approvals, applications, and work clearance documents (WCDs) in SAP using transaction codes WCLE. The steps are: 1. Select All

Then press
‘Hierarchy’

This will open the Work Approvals along with their Applications & WCDs, as shown
below:
Click on the + sign to open
hierarchy

First approval (in GREEN Colour) has to be CLOSED.

Click on the Approval No.

Approval opens as shown below:


Click here & CLOSE
approval as shown in
next snapshot.
Approval is CLOSED

Application closes by itself, just press Refresh button.

To CLOSE WCDs
with ETG status, it
has to be
UNTAGGED first.
For this click on

Select All & press
Untag

If a pop-up appears, click on the button until UNTAGGED button appears.

Click on the UNTAGGED button. All buttons disappear from the WCD screen.
Then CLOSE the WCD as in similar way as Approval was closed.
Similarly open & close other approvals, applications & WCDs.

In case of LWCs, there are no WCDs. Hence the PTW no. in the PTW register
corresponds to Application No. So, for closing LWCs, select Applications radio button as
shown in first snapshot. Copy & paste PTW nos in the simlar way as above.
Select ‘Limited Work Permit’ in the next window.
Open hierarchy of Approvals & Applications. Then follow the above steps for closing
Approvals & Applications.
