a. Physical health, if someone does not feel sick and all organs of the body are
functioning normally or are not experiencing health problems
b. Mental health that includes healthy mental, emotional and spiritual conditions.
c. Social health, if someone is able to relate to other people well, regardless of
race, ethnicity, religion, social status, etc.
d. Economic health, if someone who is an adult has a productive life, and is able to
produce something financially.
Your health is at the center of your life, that’s why health is the most important
asset in life. Every part of your life relies on you having good health. You cannot climb
higher in all the areas of your life if you do not have enough physical energy to devote
to each of them. So, if we have a healthy physic, mental and social, then we will be able
to do anything good in our life. When we are sick, we will not be productive and
unable to do a good job. As much as any wealth or power we have is meaningless
without a fit body. Whatever we will do will not run perfectly without health. So, we
can say that ‘without good health, you have nothing!’.
However, there are still some people who ignore the importance of health. Many
people delay seeing their doctors and won’t even tell their spouses. This can be caused
by several factors, for example due to feeling lazy (mixed feelings about eating
healthfully and losing weight), fear of failure and hopelessness, depression by many
concerns, not having enough time to exercise, lack of life skills to attain and maintain
health goals (we need effective life skills if we’re going to effectively take care of mind
and body), uncontrolled lifestyle, unhealthy food, etc.
Being healthy, we can get a lot of benefits, one of them is being more productive
in many ways. Starting with daily activities, like me who are a student in university, it
will have an impact on my academic. Usually students who have a fit body and
mentally healthy will be more productive in class, we will actively ask questions in
class, easy to understand what is learned in class, easy to remember lessons, can
socialize well in the campus environment, always think positively so what is done
usually will produce maximum results.
Not only for students like me, for other people who are working in offices, if
they have a healthy body and mental state it will be more productive in the workplace.
Starting from doing the tasks given by the boss faster and of course on time, focusing on
what is done, socializing well in the office environment, not easily tired so that they can
produce the maximum result in work.
The first way to promote healthy lifestyle in our environment is invite neighbors
worked together to clean the environment, healthy starts from the cleanliness of the
environment too. What is the point of adopting a healthy lifestyle, when the
environment is dirty with lots of rubbish which is indicated to cause many diseases and
also don’t forget to promote a healthy lifestyle at every opportunity that exists. Health is
the most important capital in building a nation. In addition to the government and other
related fields, it turns out that the younger generation can also take a role in promoting
healthy living for the community. Because the young generation is an asset of the nation
that has an important role in developing country in the future.
There are several ways in which the role of young people to participate in
promoting health, one of which is keeping the environment clean. Young people can
help give understanding to the community to be more responsible for waste
management. For example, through various youth organizations, they can organize the
collection of rubbish and plastic garbage and then sold that to landfills, the money from
the sale of rubbish can be used for various youth activities. In addition, young people
can contribute by taking an active role in the improvement of unfavorable habits and
lifestyles, for example the community's habit of indiscriminate excrement. Things like
this will really allow the emergence of widespread disease. The most popular certainly
are diseases that are transmitted fecal orally like diarrhea, which can even cause an
outbreak.
