    Revision of Interest Rate on Domestic, NRO and NRE Term Deposits


    (Ref. HO Cir.No.85/2019/BC/ALM-10 dt. 05.08.2019)

    Interest Rates on Domestic, NRO & NRE Term Deposits, effective from 06th December, 2019 are
    revised as follows:

    a) Domestic Term Deposits (Other than Acharya Deposits) & NRO Term Deposits

    Rs 2 Crore and
    Below Rs 2 Crore
    above
    7 days to 14 days (Minimum amount of deposit Rs 5 lac) 3.50%
    15 days to 29 days 4.00%
    30 days to 90 days 5.00%
    91 days to 179 days 5.50% Daily Quotes
    180 days to less than 1 year 6.00%
    1 Year 6.50%
    Above 1 Year to and including 10 Years 6.25%

    b) Acharya Deposits

    Rs 2 Crore and
    Below Rs 2 Crore
    above
    180 days to less than 1 Year 6.50% 6.50%
    1 Year 7.00% 7.00%
    Above 1 Year to and including 10 Years 6.75% 6.75%

    c) NRE Term Deposits

    Rs 2 Crore and
    Below Rs 2 Crore

    Daily Quotes
    Above 1 Year to and including 10 Years 6.25%

     The revised rates are applicable for fresh deposits as well as renewals of existing deposits.
     For daily interest rate quotes for single Domestic/NRO/NRE term deposits of Rs. 2 Crore and
    above, branches may contact DGM (CASA) through their Zonal Offices.
     Branches should report acceptance of deposit of Rs 2 Crore and above to DGM (CASA) - (email:
    [email protected]).

    All deposits of Rs 2 Crore and above should be accepted only after obtaining Daily Quotes as
    mentioned above.
