4. Procedures
4.1 Introductory Activity Check the attendance and recapitulate the previous discussion about writing a
5 minutes resume. Then, present the learning objectives.
4.2 Activity Activity
Instruct the students to be in their groups. Each group is given puzzle pieces and
they need to identify the image. They need to paste the puzzle pieces on a Manila
10 minutes paper and write 1-2 sentences to describe it. One representative of the group
discusses their work in class.

4.3 Analysis Raise the following questions: 1. What should you prepare before an interview?
2. Do you think practice plays a big role in having a successful interview?

4.4 Abstraction Have an interactive discussion on the meaning, the guidelines before and during

Job interview is an opportunity to present yourself, skill set and knowledge to


the one who can hire you.

Interview procedure frequently includes:


 Questions on your skills and experiences
 Behavior based questions
 Opportunity for you to ask questions of the interviewer

Preparation before an interview:


 Know yourself
 Research the employer
 Practice, practice, practice
 Make a good impression

Key points during an interview:


 Be prompt and prepared
 Poise and body language
 Answer the questions
 Closing statements

4.5 Application Let the students answer the activity to check their understanding.
Directions: Determine if the following is good or wrong practice in a job
interview.
1. Anne brings an extra copy of her resume.
2. John arrives in the interview venue just on the exact time.
