Instructions for EDPM SBA 2020

Assignment # 1
Students type a manuscript given to them. The time limit was 70 minutes and the manuscript is
to be typed under exam conditions. All errors are to be corrected and the instructions given by
way of manuscript symbols are to be followed.

Assignment #2
Conduct a research on sexual abuse in Grenada and prepare a report. Your report should include
statistics in table format or charts. You must include a table of content, bibliography and a cover
page.

Things to consider including in your report:


 An overview
 Definition of main terms
 A discussion on the prevalence of sexual abuse in Grenada and the Caribbean
 A comparison between Grenada and another Caribbean country
 Causes of sexual abuse and how it can be combatted
 Effects of sexual abuse

Assignment #3
As a member of the committee responsible for the organization of the graduation ceremony and
ball 2020, you are charged with the responsibilities of presenting to the PTA your ideas.
 Design an invitation for either the ceremony or the ball
 Prepare a menu of what can be served at either the cocktail or the dinner
 Prepare a PowerPoint presentation to discuss your ideas for the graduation ceremony or
the ball. Your presentation should have at least 6 slides.

Portfolio Pieces
1. Conduct a research on any business in Grenada to find out the names of the people
working within the organization. Design an organizational chart using the names that
you found.
2. Design a program for an independence or church activity. You should have at least 8
items listed on your program.
3. Prepare a notice with an agenda for a group that you belong to.
4. Prepare the minutes of the meeting that your group had, following the agenda that you
made.
5. Tabular work: table with oblique heading given to students.
6. Manuscript
7. Write a fully blocked letter applying for a job.
8. Rewrite the letter taken from the editorial section of the newspaper into a 2 page semi-
blocked letter.
9. Type a hire purchase agreement.
10. Type a contract of employment.
