1-Preface
The manual is only provided to the debugging and maintenance personnel of BLT
Elevator Company after the qualified training. In order to keep safety for your own and
others, please don’t carry out any processing step without qualification and authorization.
Shenyang BLT Elevator Co., Ltd. reserves the right for all pictures and information
within the manual, being forbidden to directly and indirectly publish as well as hurt the
BLT’s benefits. The manual is prohibited copying for any reason. In case of debugging
personnel’s leaving the company, the profiles should be returned to BLT in time.
The debugging personnel should carefully read the manual in advance and strictly
implement the operation according to the procedures in the manual as well. During the
debugging process, the debugging personnel should wear insulated shoes and work cloths
special for electrician. At least one suit of debugging tools should be kept at each site.
This manual adopts MPDK136 control system for the electric debugging of passenger
elevator, and it is suitable for the elevator system of mating test work when the control cabinet,
traction machine and encoder are delivered. This manual needs assorting the following Electric
Installation Manual.
It makes all the difference for elevator safety, so that each debugging personnel
should be rather careful, never letting any doubtful point pass or carrying through the
dangerous operation.
Please notify any problems on the manual to the BLT Electrical Department.

2-Attentions
1. Check the well correspondingly and ensure the installation of elevator components and no barrier
within the well before the commissioning.
2. No water in the pit and no-leakage on well enclosure before the commissioning.
3. Before the commissioning, check the temperature and humidity of machine room to meet the demand,
ensure no ponding and no leakage on the ground.
4. Before the commissioning, check if the overall arrangement of machine room is reasonable and if the
lighting switch is available when passengers enter the gate.
5. Check each apparatus in the control cabinet as well as the wires connection before the commissioning.
6. Check each connector assembly and cable connection carefully without any looseness before the
commissioning.
7. Lay a remarkable sign at the entrance of each hall before the commissioning, in case the outsiders go
into the elevator mistakely.
8. Non-adjustor is forbidden to enter the machine room. The key should be kept by specially-assigned
person after the normal operation.
9. If electricity power is required to be switched off during the process of commissioning, an obvious
sign for No-Switch-In shall be hung or stuck at the switch in order to avoid an accident.
10. All instructions assigned by the primary adjustor during the process shall be repeated and carried out
after rechecking in order to avoid mistakes.
11. For long time working in the well during the process of commissioning, the hole in the floor of
machine room should be covered, avoiding accident caused by drops.
12. Safety helmet should be worn before entering the well during the process of commissioning.
13. Any person is forbidden to enter the pit or climb up to car top privately during the process of
commissioning.
14. Car top adjustor is forbidden to lean upon the guard or one foot on car top and the other on any
fixture in the well.
15. Car top adjustor is forbidden to expand any part of body out of the car, avoiding the crush injury.
16. Car top adjustor should pay attention to the relative distance between the counterweight and car top
at any moment.
17. Pit adjustor should pay attention to the dropping location of counterweight at any moment.
18. Pit adjustor is absolutely forbidden to remain just below the counterweight.
19. It is absolutely forbidden to operate the switch of trap door, safety gear and inner lock after shorting
of mechanical and electrical system during the process of commissioning.

20. In case of pit in excess of 1.5m, it needs to climb up and down by ladder or staircase, forbidding
people to climb by catching traveling cable, car platform or the other part.
21. Check the quality of the cable and make sure the insulation protective film is in good condition
while using portable lamp during the process of commissioning.
22. It is forbidden to alter the circuit without permission during the process of commissioning. It should
be reported for approval and kept in the archives if necessary.
23. When the commissioning is not completed and the worker needs withdrawing temporarily, all the
landing doors should be closed, the doors that can’t be closed should be blocked and equipped with
the remarkable sign showing danger.
24. When the commissioning is not finished and the working personnel needs withdrawing temporarily,
the main switch should be switched off, the machine room should be locked.
25. Cut off all heat sources including blowtorch, strong light and soldering copper as the adjustor
momentarily leaves the site.
26. During the process of commissioning, tools and scrap wires shall not be left all around, and taken
away after the collection.
27. In case of accident or emergency stop, firstly release the trapped person and then carry out the
maintenance service.
28. After finishing the commissioning, reset all switches to normal status and remove all the billboards.
29. After finishing the commissioning, clean up the working site carefully, scrap wires are forbidden to
be left around control cabinet, service kit and all switches.
30. After finishing the commissioning, reconfirm the elevator’s normal operation, the quantity of
shorting connector assembly on elevator protective isolation device and its location.
31. According to the requirements, the adjustment shall not be cut for saving time.
32. After the normal operation, record should be filled in carefully, so as to do the hand-over works with
drivers or the related personnel.

WARNING
Before check, confirm the main power of elevator and the lighting has been off state.
Cut off the corresponding air switch in control cabinet of elevator.
(17) Control cabinet is installed properly according to the requirement of control cabinet
installation;
(18) Keep clean in well and machine room;
(19) All installations accord with national installation specification.
3.2. Check and Confirmation of electrical assembly
WARNING
During the following process of check, any problem happened
should be checked and solved carefully, confirming no influence
on equipment and people!
a. Inspect the fixation of encoder, axes of encoder and extension axis of traction machine shall

be well fixed.
b. Encoder connection is required to be inducted from encoder to control cabinet.
c. The encoder line is leased circuit provided by BLT, and the self-made line shall not be used on
site.
d. Good fastening of back-end cover followed encoder can make cable shielded layer and
encoder shell contact well and reduce the disturbance.
e. The engineer on site should check that the tightening of encoder is good and avoid the
slackening of encoder resulted from the shake during the transportation.
f. In order to reduce the electromagnetic disturbance, the wiring of encoder should have its own
separate cable duct.
g. When the encoder cable is too long, it should be folded in half and enlaced and not in ring
form. Refer to Installation manual, “Paving requirements of encoder and power line” as shown

a. Confirm the connection of the 24VDC power line, wire number is (24V, 0V).
b. Confirm the landing/ car door, safety circuit 110VAC detect connecting terminal, wire
c. Check each connection terminal and wiring on controlling cabinet, which may be loosened
during the process of transport, so as to the connection position.

As shown in the preceding figure, the three buttons are PRG, UP, and SET. The functions of
the three buttons are as follows:
• PRG: Press this button in any state to display the current function group number. You can
press the UP button to change the function group number.
UP: Press this button to increase the function group number.
Currently, the MCB defines a total of 13 function code groups, namely, F0
to F9, and FA to FC. You can press the UP button to display them in turn. In addition, in
special function code group menu, you can input simple references by using the UP button.

• SET: In the function code group menu, press this button to enter the
menu of the function code group.
In special function code group menu, after you input a simple reference and press this button to
save the setting, the display will return to the F0 menu by default.
The following figure shows the setting of increasing the called floor to 5.
The F0 menu is displayed on the keypad by default upon power-on. The first 7-segment LED
indicates the running direction, while the last two 7-segment LEDs indicate the current floor
number of the elevator.
When the elevator stops, the first 7-segment LED has no display. When
the elevator runs, the first 7-segment LED blinks to indicate the running direction.
When a system fault occurs, the 7-segment LEDs automatically display the fault code
and blink. If the fault is reset automatically, the F0 menu is displayed.
After you enter the F1 menu, the 7-segment LEDs display the bottom floor (F6-01). You can
press the UP button to set the destination floor within the range of lowest to top and then press
the SET button to save the setting. The elevator runs to the destination floor, and the display
automatically switches over to the F0 menu at the same time.

After you enter the F3 menu, the 7-segment LEDs display the current system time circularly.

After you enter the F5 menu, the 7-segment LEDs display the elevator running times
circularly.
After you select "1" and press the SET button, shaft auto-tuning is implemented if the
conditions are met. Meanwhile, the display switches over to the F0 menu. After shaft
auto-tuning is complete, F7 is back to "0" automatically. If shaft auto-tuning conditions are
not met, fault code "Err35" is displayed.

FA: auto-tuning
After you enter the FA menu, the 7-segment LEDs display "0". The setting range of FA is
1 and 2, as follows:
After the setting is complete, press the SET button. Then the 7-segment LEDs display
"TUNE", and the elevator enters the auto-tuning state. After confirming that the elevator
meets the safe running conditions, press the SET button again to start auto-tuning.
After auto-tuning is complete, the 7-segment LEDs display the current angle for 2s, and
then switch over to the F0 menu.
You can press the PRG button to exit the auto-tuning state.
After you enter the Fb menu, the 7-segment LEDs display the input/output state of the
CTB. The following table describes the meaning of each segment of the LEDs.

The LED operation panel is connected to the RJ45 interface of the controller by using an
8-core flat cable. You can modify the parameters, monitor the working
status and start or stop the controller by operating the operation panel. The
following figure shows the LED operation panel.

Description of Indicators

Operation Procedure
The three-level menu consists of function code group (Level I), function code (Level II), and
function code setting value (level III), as shown in the following figure.

In Level III menu, if the parameter has no blinking digit, it means that the parameter cannot

• Such a parameter cannot be modified in the running state and can only be changed at
stop.
In the stop or running state, the operation panel can display multiple status parameters.
Whether parameters are displayed is determined by the equivalent binary bits converted from
the values of FA-01 and FA-02.
4.2.4 Paramerters display in stop state
In the stop stsate, a total of 12 parameters can be displayed circularly by pressing . You can
select the parameters to be displayed by setting FA-02 (each of the binary bits converted from
the value of FA-02 indicates a parameter).

the factory. Modify the parameters according to the contract.

Elevator intergration controller operation can be divided into three grades for all the parameters,
as follows:
“☆”:shows the parameter set value can be modified when elevator integration controller is in
stop and running state.
“★”:shows that the parameter set value cann’t be modified when elevator integration
controller is in running state.
“●”:shows that the parameter value is actual detection record value and cann’t be modified.

The system has automatically checked the modified property of the parameters to avoid the
misoperation from users.)

When you enter the menu of F5-32, the LEDs on the operation panel indicate the current HOP

For example, if the LEDs are shown as the following figure, it indicates that the Modbus
communication of addresses 1、5、6、7、12、15、16、18、19、21、22、23、25、26、27 are
abnormal. The Modbus communication of other addresses is normal. The CANbus
communication state displayed by the LED is 3, communication is interfered.

Note: On certain environment conditions(the heatsink temperature is too high), the system will
reduce the carrier frequency to provide overheat protection for the controller, preventing the
controller from being damaged due to overheat. If the temperature cannot reduce in this case,
the controller reports the overheat fault.

F2-03 and F2-04 are PI regulation parameters when the running frequency is larger than the
value of F2-05 (Switchover frequency2).
If the running frequency is between F2-02 and F2-05, the speed loop PI parameters are obtained
from the weighted average value of the two groups of PI parameters (F2-00, F2-01 and F2-03,
F2-04).
The speed dynamic response characteristics in vector control can be adjusted by setting the
proportional gain and integral time of the speed regulator.

To achieve a faster system response, increase the proportional gain and reduce the integral time.
Be aware that this may lead to system oscillation;
The recommended adjustment method is as follows:
If the default setting cannot meet the requirements, make proper adjustment. Increase the
proportional gain first to ensure that the system does not oscillate, and then reduce the integral
tome to ensure that the system has quick response and small overshoot.
If both F2-02 (Switchover frequency 1) and F2-05 (Switchover frequency 2) are 0, only F2-03
and F2-04 are valid.
These two parameters are used to set the startup speed and startup speed holding time. For
details, see velocity curve sketch map.
The parameters may reduce the terrace feeling at startup due to static friction between the guide
rail and the guide shoes.

These parameters are used to set the running curve during deceleration of the elevator.
F3-02 (F3-05) is the acceleration rate (decelaration rate) in the straight-line acceleration process
(deceleration process) of the S curve.
F3-03(F3-07)is the time for the rate to increase from 0 to the value set in F3-02(F3-05)in the
end jerk segment of the S curve. The larger the value is, the smoother the jerk is.
F3-04(F3-06)is the time for the rate to decrease from the value set in F3-02(F3-05)to 0 in the
start jerk segment of the S curve. The larger the value is, the smoother the jerk is.

These parameters are used to set the time related to the zero-speed holding current output and
braking action delay
F3-18 (Zero-speed control time at startup) specifies the time from output of the RUN contactor
to output of the brake contactor, during which the controller performs excitation on the motor
and outputs zero-speed current with large startup torque.
F3-19 (Brake release delay) specifies the time from the moment when the system sends the
brake release command to the moment when the brake is completely released, during which the
system retains the zero-speed torque current output.
F3-20(Stop moment output delay)specifies the zero-speed output time when the running curve
ends.
F8-11 (Brake apply delay) specifies the time from the moment when the system sends the brake
command to the moment when the brake is completel applied, during which the system retains
the zero-speed torque current output.

It is used to adjust the leveling accurancy at elevator stop. If over-leveling occurs in elevator
stop at all floors, decrease the value of this parameter property. If under-leveling occurs in
elevator stop at all floors, increase the value of this parameter property.
This parameter takes effect to leveling of all floors. Therefore, if leveling at a single floor is
inaccurate, adjust the postion of the leveling plate.
The controller has the advanced distance control algorithm and adopts many methods to ensure
stability of direct stop. Generally you need not modify this parameter.

These two parameters indicate the absolute pulses of the current position of the elevator car
relative to the bottom leveling position.
The position data of the controller in the shaft is recorded in pulses. Each position is
expressed by a 32-bit binary number, where the high 16 bits indicate the high byte of the floor
postion, and the low 16 bits indicate the low byte of the floor position.

These two parameter respectively indicate the pulses corresponding to the length of the

These parameters indicate the pulses corresponding to the floor height i (between the leveling
plates of floor i and floor i+1). Each floor height is expressed by a 32-bit binary number, where
the high 16 bits indicate the high byte of the floor height, and the low 16 bits indicate the low
byte of the floor height. On normal conditions, the floor height i of each floor is almost the
same.
4.8.6 Service floor setting (F6-05、F6-06、F6-35)
System can choose to close or activate a certain or several elevator service floors as required.

These parameters are used to set the service floors among floors 1-40. F6-05(Service floors
1) corresponds to floors 1-16. F6-06 (Service floors 2) corresponds to floors 17-32. F6-35
(Service floors 3) corresponds to floors 33-40.

These parameters define the time periods of two groups of time-based services and
corresponding service floors.
Service floor 1 corresponds to floors 1-16, service floor 2 corresponds to floors 17-32, and
service floor 3 corresponds to floors 33-40. In the time period of time-based service 1(set by
F6-18 and F6-19), the elevator responds to the service floors set by F6-20, F6-21 and F6-36 but
ignores the service floors set by F6-05, F6-06 and F5-35. The setting of time-based service
floors is the same as that of service floors in F6-05.
During the time-based floor service period, the settings of F6-05, F6-06 and F5-35 are invalid. If

the two periods of time-based floor service 1 and time-based floor service 2 are overlapped, the
system implements time-based floor service 1 because it has higher priority level.
These parameters define two peak time periods in parallel mode and group control mode and
corresponding floors. During a peak time period, if there are more than three car calls from the
peak floor, the elevator enters the peak service state. At the moment, the car calls from the peak
floor are valid all the time. The elevator returns to this floor if it is idle.

be recorded in F8-06 and F8-07. You can also manually input data according to the actual
situation.
4.8.10 Parameter copying
Use hand-hold operator to upload and download parameters to control system.
Press the keys and simultaneously for three seconds to enter the menu
mode of the operator. In the operator menu mode, press the key to return the
parameter interface of integrated elevator control system.
U0-00 is shown directly after entering the operator interface. Press the key to
view function code value. If there is flicker bit,the function code can be modified. Press the key

During the upload and download, if the system runs, the operation will fail and the interface
will show FAIL.
When the operator does not store the valid parameters, the upload will fail and interface will
show FAIL.

5.4 Commissioning procedures for car ceiling inspection
5.4.1 After normal running TEST in machine room, inspection works on car ceiling can
be carried out on the premise of confirming safety. Before car ceiling inspection is
carried out, the working line of car ceiling inspection should be confirmed right. All
buttons act normally including car ceiling emergency-stop safety switch.
5.4.2 When car ceiling inspection is operating, the machine room emergency electro
motion is invalid.
5.4.3 If up and down buttons on car top inspection is different from elevator running
direction, the working line of car ceiling inspection direction shall be checked. The
change of direction instruction toward inverter and other changes in control cabinet are
not allowed.
5.4.4 If the door of elevator is open, it shall be closed automatically after pressing up
and down button on car ceiling.
5.5 Notice for car ceiling inspection:
When car ceiling inspection, press emergency button to stop lift in case of any
emergency.
Professional on the car ceiling shall be careful from time to time!

6.1.7.2 Operational mode description of the controller
The controller has four operational modes: speed control, distance control 1, distance
control 2, distance control 3. BLT uses distance control 1.
6.1.7.3 Function parameters classification
The series of controller has 141 function parameters, which can be divided into ten groups
according to the sequence number and function.
EV3200 series controller adopts vector control technology. Before running motor parameter
tuning shall be carried out. Use the operation panel to start tuning and stop. Before tuning
ensure that the motor is out of the load, otherwise the motor parameters are not accurate
When synchronous motor tunes, connect the encoder firstly. And take the controller as
factory default parameters condition for example:
1) Set the general inverter panel operation mode and set the functional parameters
F0.02 to 0;
2) Set the control method as distance control 1(Closed loop vector control at the time);

3) Set motor type and set the functional parameter F6.00 to 1 (synchronous motor)
The parameter values have been set when leaving factory which shall be checked
before tuning.
5) Set the pulse count of the encoder per revolution and functional parameter F4.01.
6)Set encoder type and set functional parameter F4.00 to 0 (24V encoder)or 1 (5V
encoder);
7)Set parameters tuning function and set functional parameter F6.07 to1.
8) Press door opening key on the panel to start motor parameter tuning. Operation panel
LED displays “TUNE”. During tuning the motor shall run according to fixed mode and no
need pay attention.
9) After finishing the tuning the controller automatically stop and F6.07 automatically revert

13)Door width self-learning
Firstly ensure F4 group parameters setting is correct, and set F0.02 to 1, F4.05 to 1.
Confirm that the door can be normally opened and closed and press the door opening key
on the panel to do self-learning of door width. At the same time the door machine runs at
self-learning speed according to the operation procedure of close-open-close, and door
machine saves door width information after completing the self-learning. After finishing the
above work set F0.02 to 2. The tuning and learning work is finished.
14) Parameters adjustment
Door machine parameters table is shown as follows for reference. According to the
difference of door width and weight on site set the parameters such as speed and moment
and so on to satisfy the needs of the users and national standard.

7-Self-learning running
7.1 During self-learning running commissioning, first you have to confirm the settings of the
following parameters are right:
The corresponding running speed should be set according to the collateral drawings.
7.2 After above parameters are confirmed right, the following signal connection also need to be
inspected.
7.2.1 Confirm the shaft signal action:
Monitor the signal action in the F5-34 menu of integrated control panel:
When the car runs in the middle of the shaft, all the speed change switches are effective. At this
moment:
Up run, input point X10、X8 disconnect orderly;
Down run, input point X11、X9 disconnect orderly;

7.2.2 During inspection running, at the same time, you can observe the door zone signal F5-34
menu action, and make sure whether it is right or not. If any problem appears, solve it
immediately.
7.2.3 Feedback of encoders, leveling sensor is normal (the action is reliable,and the
characteristic parameters of often open/close is set correctly, etc.), forced deceleration switch
mounting distance is correct, feedback is normal;
When the lift is at bottom floor, down level1, down level2 forced deceleration switch acts;
When the lift is under maintenance state and it is controlled by the distance, it is closed-l
oop vector control mode(F0-00=1,F0-01=1);
The highest and lowest floor setting is correct (F6-00 is the highest, and F6-01 is the lowest);
The system is not under state of fault alarm, if any fault, pls press key to restore the current
fault.
7.3 Inspect installation position of forced deceleration switch and limit switch.
The purpose of forced deceleration switch installation: When running speed of the car is a
bnormal and the car runs from the forced deceleration switch position to the end station a
s rated maximum speed, the car can decelerate as specific speed to assure the speed of
car decelerate to zero at the end station, in order to avoid the car squat down bottom, or
header.

Level1 forced deceleration switch and limit switches are mounted on one component, as long as
the limit switch relevels at end station and continue to run to 50mm, it will be installed. Level1
forced deceleration switch position can be guaranteed to meet above table. Level2 forced
deceleration switch is bistable magnetic induction switch. When it relevels at end station, the

distance of magnet point and bistable magnetic induction switch is set as above table.
Direction of the magnetic points are set according to down level2 forced deceleration switch
contacts open through the corresponding magnetic points, and up level2 forced deceleration
switch contacts open through the corresponding magnetic points.
7.4 Start self-learning running: When meet above conditions and under state of inspection, set
operator parameters F1-11 as 3 or keypad F7 as 1, the lift will start self-learning under state of
inspectation.
7.5 Renewal self-learning: When any change occurs in the door zone inspection of shaft or the
position of speed change switch is changed, an effective self-learning must be performed.
7.6 If there is additional leveling board in shaft, need close its absolute floor by
F6-05/F6-06/F6-35.(For an example: There is additional leveling board between floor10 and
floor11. Need to change Bit10 of F6-05 as 0 to close the leveling board).
Because absolute floor changes, need adjust display floor No. Realize adjustment by changing
FE-01 to FE-31, FE-35 to FE-43.For above example, need change FE-10 to 10, FE-11 to 10,
FE-12 to 11, till to the highest floor or the next additional leveling board.

8 -Debugging operation
8.1 On-site inspection and confirmation
(1) The inspection and confirmation of machine assembling
A. The elevator pit components are installed in good condition. If hydraulic buffer has been used,
confirm the buffer oil is enough as requested; the pit should be dry.
B. There is no barrier in the shaft which can influence the running of the elevator.
C. The landing door is installed in good condition.
D. Good sealing between landing door upright and door opening.
E. The installation of guide rail has been approved qualified.
F. The installation of steel rope is correct and tight.
G. The installation and fixing of all sorts of switches.
H. The tension sheave of speed governor steel rope has been installed correctly.
I. The installation of car is complete, consolidate and tighten.
J. The traveling cable has been installed and fixed in good condition.
K. The positioning of machine room components comply with the national standards.
L. The fixing of main machine complies with the requirements of factory installation, and the
main machine beam should be fixed and sealed (concealed work) good.
M. If it is equipped with gear traction machine, confirm the oil in reduction gearbox is enough.
N. Confirm the encoder on the main machine is fixed firmly.
O. The positioning of speed governor is satisfied the national standards.
P. The wire duct is laid in order, and they should be connected by copper sheet and yellow green
wire.
Q. The installation and positioning of control cabinet is in order.
R. The machine room and shaft should be kept clean.
S. The leveling sensor flashboard in every floor of shaft should be installed correctly.
T. The car door operator is installed correctly.

WARNING
Any problem occurs during the process of the following inspections should be
checked and solved carefully. Make sure that there is no influence on equipments
and people.
A. The wiring of door operator should be correct; the wiring of infrared curtain should be correct.
B. The wiring of car top leveling sensor should be correct, and ensure the installation dimension
is correct and firm.
C. Every safety switch in the shaft could act effectively.
D. The installation position of upper and lower inspection switches in the shaft should be correct,
and the action of switch is effective.
E. The wiring of interphone is correct, and ensures the call is normal.
F. The wiring of arrival gong is correct. (Skip this step if there is no arrival gong)
G. The wiring of external calling box is reliable and correct.
H. The wiring of car lighting and fan is correct.
8.2 Riding Comfort
The riding comfort is an important factor of the elevator's overall performance. Improper
installation of mechanical parts and improper parameter settings will cause bad comfort.
Enhancing the riding comfort mainly involves adjustment of the controller output and the

"Pre-torque offset" is actually the elevator balance coefficient, namely, the percentage of the
car load to the rated load when the car and counterweight are balanced.
"Drive gain" or "Brake gain" scales the elevator’s present pre-torque coefficient when the
Startup pre-torque compensation is higher. The controller identifies the braking or driving.
state according to the load cell signal and automatically calculates the required torque compensation
value.
When an analog device is used to measure the load, these parameters are used to adjust the elevator
startup. The method of adjusting the startup is as follows:
In the driving state, increasing the value of F8-03 could reduce the rollback during the elevator startup, but a
very high value could cause car lurch at start.
In the braking state, increasing the value of F8-04 could reduce the jerk in command direction during the
elevator startup, but a very high value could cause car lurch at start.
Mechanical Construction
The mechanical construction affecting the riding comfort involves installation of the guide rail,
guide shoe, steel rope, and brake, balance of the car, and the resonance caused by the car,
guild rail and motor. For asynchronous motor, abrasion or improper installation of the gearbox
may arouse bad riding comfort.
1. Installation of the guide rail mainly involves the verticality and surface

flatness of the guide rail, smoothness of the guide rail connection and parallelism between
two guide rails (including guide rails on the counterweight side).
2. Tightness of the guide shoes (including the one on the counterweight side)
also influences the riding comfort. The guide shoes must not be too loose or tight.
3. The drive from the motor to the car totally depends on the steel rope. Large flexibility of
the steel rope with irregular resistance during the car running may cause curly oscillation of
the car. In addition, unbalanced stress of multiple steel ropes may cause the car to jitter
during running.
4. The riding comfort during running may be influenced if the brake arm is
installed too tightly or released incompletely.
5. If the car weight is unbalanced, it will cause uneven stress of the guide shoes that
connect the car and the guide rail. As a result, the guide shoes will rub with the guide rail
during running, affecting the riding comfort.
6. For asynchronous motor, abrasion or improper installation of the gearbox may also
affect the riding comfort.
7. Resonance is an inherent character of a physical system, related to the
material and quality of system components. If you are sure that the oscillation is caused
by resonance, reduce the resonance by increasing or decreasing the car
weight or counterweight and adding resonance absorbers at connections of the
components (for example, place rubber blanket under the motor).

After the system detects abnormal location, the elevator travels to the terminal to inspect to
assure safety of system.
9.43 Put the people preferentially
The elevator automatically classifies the fault and returns the landing floor to evacuate the
passengers preferentially on the premise of safety.
9.44 Interference evaluation
The elevator evaluates communication signal transmission interference, reflects the current

9.45 Light load anti-nuisance function
The number of car calls registered at the same time is limited during light load.

When the elevator malfunctions or power is off, pushing the alarm bell button will sound the

WDT detects continuously if the program runs incorrectly, and all output resetting system will be

Under automatic travel, the elevator will return to the main floor waiting if there is no car call or
hall call for a period of time. The elevator will respond to any call immediately during the process
of returning to the main floor.
Data F9-00, is return time. 0 is invalid.
9.60 Emergency car lighting supply
Emergency lighting on the car operation panel will turn on automatically during power cut.
9.61 Landing Indicator
Landing indicator shows the (inspection) status of elevator.
9.62 Door interlock safety protection
Under automatic travel, elevator would stop and send out alarm message when system found
the safety circuit of door interlock break. The elevator will operate only after the fault is
eliminated.
9.63 Brake monitoring function
The system automatically monitors the working condition of the brake to ensure reliable
operation of the brake.
9.64 Duplex control:
Two elevators travel under duplex control. When one of two elevators can not respond to the call
in case of fault, it will separate from duplex control and travel independently, and do not affect
the normal travel. (See chapter 10 for details)
9.65 Group control function :
Group control function can control 3-8 elevators. When one elevator can not respond to the call
in case of fault, it will separate from group control and travel independently, and do not affect the
normal travel.
When the group control fails or group control communication fails, the separate elevators service
function is available.(See manul chapter14 for details)
9.66 Decentralized off line function
In group control, when the passenger flow volume is reduced, each elevator is stacked on
various floors in order to respond in time when there is call, and reduce the waiting time.
9.67 Rush hour service
During set peek time, if the car call is more than 3 from peak floor, then rush hour servi
ce begins, the car calls of the peak floor are available , when the elevator is free it will r
eturn the floor. This function can set two independent peak time.(See data F6-26~F6-31)
9.68 Preferential landing service
Elevator will send the nearest car to the calling floor, while responding to the call.
9.69 Light curtain and safety edge protection
When the light curtain and safety edge operate, the door will open again.
9.70 Door nudging
Door opens when elevator receives any block between the infrared curtains. If the blockage is
over set time, door will close smoothly with buzzing.
9.71 Car arrival chime

9.73 Earthquake emergency travel
When the seismic sensors are actuated, all elevators will stop promptly at the nearest available
floor and park there with doors open.
9.74 Emergency leveling device when power cut
When the system starts,it detects the current power supply for backup battery power supply.
According to the load, the system determins leveling floor direction. As F8-09 (blackout
emergency rescue speed) speed, the elevator arrives at the leveling floor and keeps the door
openning, and can't start again. If the time through two floors is more than A1-07 set time E30,
elevator can't run.
9.75 Emergency power operation transfer device
A standby power transfer device is provided.
9.76 Emergency power supply function
Emergency power supplys, the elevator runs to the landing floor and keep door opening (A1-01
Bit8 is 0)or after arrive at landing floor continues to travel.
9.77 Voice announcement system
Voice announcement system sounds to indicate the arrival of car to passengers.
9.78 Background music function
Car background music provided when elevator is operating. (See chapter 16 for details)
9.79 Pre-open
When the elevator runs automatically, elevator starts to open the doors before leveling to make
the elevator high efficiency. Set FE-32 Bit3 for the function. (See chapter 11 for details.)
9.80 Automatic re-leveling
The elevator stops, and sometimes load changes will affects leveling,or because of the sicks,
inconvenience will be brought to passengers and goods in and out, then system allows with door
opening to run to leveling position as leveling speed

2. Installation Reqirement
A. When the elevator levels, levling switch is in the middle of leveling boards.
B. The up/down leveling switch is equal distance to the middle leveling switch.
C. The up leveling switch is 10mm to the upper edge of leveling board.
D. The down leveling switch is 10mm to the lower edge of leveling board.
E. The vertical center lines of up/down/middle leveling switch coincide.
11.2 Relevling switch act sequence
When the elevator stops normally, up/down/middle leveling switches are in the leveling board.
Due to some reason, when the up leveling switch separates from the range of leveling board, the
elevator runs down as relevling speed, till the up/down/middle leveling switches are in the
leveling board, the elevator stops. By adjusting the distance between the up/down leveling
switches and upper/lower edges to leveling board and releveling speed, leveling precision of
elevator will be controled in a reasonable range.

2)By bolt M3 fasten the controller on the bracket, and fasten the bracket on the removable
car floor, which is opposite to the magnet. Make the induction center of controller be
opposite to the center of induction magnet, and assure the logo of magnet is right opposite
to the logo of controller and keep the controller and magnet parallel.
3)Adjust the controller to make inspection gap 15-17mm. During installation, if location is
wrong, one of two position indicators is on. If the up indicator ⑴is on, the controller need to
be adjusted down. If the down indicator⑵ is on, the controller need to be adjusted up. If
the position is right, both two indicators are off. (Because we install Load weighing device
reversedly to car floor, up and down indicators are opposite to adjust direction.)
3.Debugging
1).Install the controller on the car floor. Supply power under empty load status. Digital
device Indicates “821”.
2).Elevator empty load cleared. Continuously press the cleared button for 3 times. The
indicator ⑶ is off with 3 light sounds. After around 5 seconds, three long sound responds
are heard. And the indicator ⑶ is on. Zero learning is finished, and digital device indicates
“000”.
3 ) .Increase load to the demand light-load (the default should be set to 225 kg),
continuously press cleared button for 5 times in 5 seconds, and the indicator (3)is off with
5 short sounds. After 5 seconds one long sound is heard, and the indicator(3)is on again.
Light- load learning is finished. (This can not be done if no light-load).
4).Increase load weight to value of over-load, and press cleared button for over 5 seconds.
The indicator (3)is off with one short sound. When one short and one long sound respond
is heard, the indicator (3)is on again. Full load learning is finished, digital device indicates
“100”.
4.Controller instruction
1)When self-learning operation, the dicator ⑶ is off. The indicator ⑶ is on again,
when operation finishes. Only with the indicator ⑶ is on, next learning operation can be
done.
2)When self-learning , if during the process of the indicator ⑶ from off to on, no correct
responds of operation is heard, then the operation fails, need to re-learn the operation.
3)Self-study is completed, and the controller operates normally, and then the indicator
⑵and ⑶ are on. Commissioning is completed, and the controller can work normally.
When the load weight of car ranges from empty load to full load, the controller outputs
0~10V or 0~10mA. Digital device displays from 000 to above 102 and when load
weight reaches set light- load, light load relay acts. When load weight reaches 95% of
full load, full-load relay acts. When load weight reaches to 102% of full load, overload
relay acts.
5. Controller maintainence
After controller normal work, the controller should be inspected every month. Study
whether the controller digital device display varies with load weight. The controller
should be inspected and maintained every three monthes (90 days) as the following
procedures.
1) Inspect whether the controller’s installation piece is loose, and fasten it.

2)Inspect controller over-load function: The elevator stops at bottom floor. Cut off the
power of controller, and inspect whether the elevator receive over-load signal. If the
elevator does not receive over-load signal, pls check circuit or change the weighing
controller.
3)After above two steps, stop elevator at the bottom floor and do cleared operation.
4)With a certain load to the elevator, inspect whether the controller display is within the
normal range. Such as 800 kgs elevator with 100 kg load weight, if its digital control
device display between 8% -14%, controller is normal. If not within this range, check
whether the rubber block is aging, and re-learn as the following debugging instruction.

a.Device initial check
Set switch in the ‘running' position, the controller is powered and utters a long sound. The
digital device indicates 888, and then shows the percentage of the elevator load (if it utters
three ring sounds after it is powered, inspect whether the sensors and connecting cable is
connected to the controller. If it is connected, inspect the sensor and connectting cable).
The percentage of elevator’s load weight increases as the elevator load weight increases.
b. learning
①The device is powered, and warm up for 10 minutes.
②Empty load elevator stops at the lightest self-weight floor, on which floor the sensor has
minimum force and dose cleared learning. Continuously press the cleared button for three
times within three seconds, with three light sounds and then three long respond is heard.
The digital device indicates 000, cleared (tare) is completed.
③ After cleared (tare), on the heaviest self-weight floor, with 99% rated load, and starts
full-load learning. Press cleared button for above 5 seconds, and release immediately after
one long sound is heard. The digital device indicates 099-100.
④Debugging is completed.
Special remark: When weighing data is more than 80%, the system considered it as
full-load .when more than 100%, as over-load.

time if it is powered off. Group control panel complete a variety of specific functions related
to time according to the time. Therefore, when the user firstly power the lift, the five
parameters should be set well according to the actual time.
F1‐01 :First service floor setting 1 (floor 1 to floor 16)
1-01 set respond to the instruction from which floors from floor1 to floor16, F1‐02 respond
to the instruction from which floors from floor17 to floor 31, F1-01 setting way is as follows:
The lift will control the floor to allow the service or not by a 16-bit binary number. The binary
number from low to high respectively represents floor1 ~ 16, the corresponding bit is set to
1 indicates the lift will respond to the call of this floor; corresponding bit is set to 0 indicates
the lift will not respond to call of this floor.
For example, the floors one lift need serve as following chart:

1: Second Group. Allocate lift#1 to second group and runs as parameters F1‐06~F1‐08
sets.
F1‐17、F1‐22、F1‐27、F1‐32、F1‐37、F1‐42、F1‐47 is respectively grouping set
of lift#2~8. The setting way is exactly same as F1‐12.
When set bit0 of F1‐03 as 1(group control grouping valid), the grouping function of above
lifts is valid.
The user can set one or two time periods to group control group lift#1 according to
requirement and allocate normally during the other time periods.
F1‐13 set Lift#1 first period grouping start time; F1‐14 set Lift#1 fist period grouping end
time (i.e. from F1‐13 setting time to F1‐14 setting time is the first period grouping time of
the whole day of lift#1); F1‐15 set Lift#1 second period grouping start time; F1‐16 set
Lift#1 second period grouping end time (i.e. from F1‐15 setting time to F1‐16 setting
time is the second period grouping time of the whole day of lift#1).
F1‐18~F1‐21、F1‐23~F1‐26、F1‐28~F1‐31、F1‐33~F1‐36、F1‐38~F1‐41、
F1‐43~F1‐46、F1‐48~F1‐51 is respectively the grouping time setting of lift#2~8.The
setting way is exactly same as F1‐13~F1‐16.
Note: F1‐13 setting time should be earlier than one of F1‐14. F1‐14 setting time should
be earlier than one of F1‐16. Only when the group control grouping function is valid (Bit0
of F0‐03 is 1), group F1 parameters setting is valid.
F2‐00:Lift#1 simplex operating selection

The user can set one or two periods of time to make lift#1 simplex running according to
requirement and runs in group control in the other periods.
F2‐01 set Lift#1 first period simplex running start time; F2‐02 set Lift#1 fist period
simplex running end time (i.e. from F2‐01 setting time to F2‐02 setting time is the first
period simplex runing time of the whole day of lift#1); F2‐03 set Lift#1 second period
simplex runing start time; F2‐04 set Lift#1 second period simplex runing end time (i.e.
from F2‐03 setting time to F2‐04 setting time is the second period simplex runing time of
the whole day of lift#1).
F2‐06~F2‐09、F2‐11~F2‐14、F2‐16~F2‐19、F2‐21~F2‐24、F2‐26~F2‐29、
F2‐31~F2‐34、F2‐36~F2‐39 is respectively simplex running function setting of lift#2~8.
The setting way is exactly same as one of F2‐01~F2‐04.
Note: F2‐01 setting time should be earlier than one of F2‐02. F2‐03 setting time should
be earlier than one of F2‐04. Only when simplex running is valid (F2‐00 is 1), F2‐
01~F2‐04 setting value is valid. Lift#2~8 simplex running function code seting is same as
above.

Parameters setting process instruction: (By default the lift is powered, and it will enter running
mode, and can set operation.)
Firstly, press key FUN, the voice announcer will show Function 1, i.e.“Announcer language
selection”;
Then press key “+” or “-” to set parameters value. When operating, the announcer will voice the
chosen parameters value, i.e. “Chinese”, “English”or “Chinese and English”.
Lastly press key “FUN” again.The announcer will save the parameters and shows the next
function, i.e. “background music selection”.
In turn, when press key “FUN”each time, the current parameters will be saved and the next
function is shown. When the last parameter is set and press key “FUN”again,indicating “save
setting and enter running mode”, announcer returns to running mode.
Under running mode only pressing key “FUN” can reset parameters. In the process of par
ameter settings it does not respond to announcement instruction, and in the absence of v
oice playing if no key pressing for more than 10 seconds, parameters are saved automati
cally, and it will return to runing mode, at the same time indicates "save Settings, and ent
er running mode".
When setting up the "background music selection" function parameters, each time you press "+"
or "-" after modifying parameters, in addition to broadcast the corresponding parameter value "1
to 10", and then will play the appropriate background music, before the end of the music playing,
and 10- second timeout timer operation does not start, it can respond to any key operation to
end playing for the new settings.
When setting up function parameters of the "background music volume" and "announcer
volume", after each time press "+" or "-" to modify parameters, in addition to broadcast the
corresponding parameter value "1 to 16", and then also play the appropriate background music
or language as setting volume. Similarly, before the end of the music playing, and 10- second
timeout timer operation does not start, it can respond to any key operation.
After a system failure, firstly announcement broadcasts comforting word, if detected
maintener’s phone number , (the fist bit is not "0". )and broadcast 11-bit phone number, and
broadcast twice, before broadcasting background music (volume alleviates ). In the fault state,
every minute broadcast one-time comforting word and phone number twice.

Press the key S1 to enter main interface of function setting
Floor address setting menu: floor address can be set and viewed in the interface.
Floor address setting method: press the keys S2/S3 to shift the cursor to 1 floor address and press
the key S1 to enter modification mode, address high bit is in selected mode, meantime increase and
decrease floor high bit by S2/S3; press the key S1 again to make address low bit be in selected
mode, meantime increase and decrease by S2/S3. After the setting of address low bit press the key
S1 again to exit the mode of floor address setting. Floor address range: floor 0-56.
Hall call board is set according to absolute floor address. Absolute floor includes safety door,
additional leveling board. The address of internal display is set as 0 and hall call address can not be
set as 0. Hall call address can not be repeated, otherwise it will affect system communication and
cause abnormal operation.
System setting menu: in the page you can set transverse or vertical display page.
Setting method: press S2/S3 to move the cursor to 3 System setting, and press S1 to enter
modification mode, and then press S1 again to pick on the character Transverse or Vertical. Choose
Transverse or Vertical by S2/S3. After choosing the character press S1 to confirm. And move the
cursor to 5 Return by S2/S3, at the same time press S1 to exit. The setting is finished.

Plug formatted FAT32 U disk or SD card into USB slot (put SD card into card reader and then
put the card reader into USB slot.). When you see movable disk, open the software untitled.exe in
the folder Soft and Usage instruction of Upper Machine in CD supplied by our company. The
interface is shown as picture 1

The operations of 小图 and logo are the same. Take 小图 as an example: click【小图】 in
picture 3 to choose managing 小图. Click the button【添加】to add not more than 16 pieces of
small pictures.

played in a certain time. There are three options for play content: video, pictures (no sound),
picture and music. For example, play the video from 0 to 4 o 'clock in the morning.

17.6.4.2.1 Use conversion tool MediaCoder to convert video format.
The volume of user video file is too big and coded format is inconsistent, so conversion tool
MediaCoder is needed to make video file be converted to proper file and updated to LCD.

17.6.4.2.3 MediaCoder converting video
Click 【File】and click【Add file】in pull-down menu to add the video file to be converted
shown as the following picture.
Choose the video and load preset file presetfile.xml in the file folder of Video File Conversion
Software and Operating Manual in the CD supplied by our company. After loading refresh (We
have finished the setting of the parameters.

After the completion of converting conversion software will generate new video file under the
folder in which original file is located. Change the names of converted video files into A.avi and
B.avi and copy them to SD card or under U disk root directory.

Note: Some customers point out that two videos A.a vi and B.a vi cannot be updated into the
video machine by U disk or SD card. The situation occurs because file extension has been hidden
by some computer systems. At this time only need to change the names of converted video files
into A and B.
17.6.4.3 Replace the files in video machine.
17.6.4.3.1 SD card replacement
Cut off the power supply of plug-in card video machine. Plug SD card containing converted
picture and video into SD card slot of video machine. Power on again and wait several minutes.
When the screen shows the prompt of “Pull out the Card, And restart the machine”, the
replacement will end. And then pull out SD card and restart the video machine.
17.6.4.3.2 U disk replacement (U disk of USB2.0)
Plug U disk containing converted picture and video into USD slot of video machine. At this
time video machine will restart automatically again and copy the file in U disk, please wait several
minutes. When the screen shows the prompt of “Now please unplug the U disc!”, the copy process
will end. And then pull out U disk and restart the video machine.

Control room host falls into two categories, with display (type: BLT12-254N) and without display (type:
BLT12-16N).
Extension calling the host: the elevator number indicating lamp corresponding to the control room host is
bright, five-way intercom is carried out by pressing the corresponding button after off-hook of the phone.
Host calling: five-way intercom is carried out by pressing the extension number after off-hook of the
phone.
If there are multiple elevators calling control room host at the same time, all elevator number lights
corresponding to the control room host will be all bright. Press the corresponding elevator number button
to call back after off-hook of the phone.

25.1.2.2 Instruction for control room host

(1)When extension calling host, host phone rings and calling indication light flashes and display screen
shows calling subsystem number. After off-hook of the phone subsystem interphone is automatically
connected so that calling can be carried out; Calling is ended when phone is hung up.
(2)When host calling extension, enter three digit number subsystem number after off-hook of the phone,
e.g., when calling No.8 subsystem, directly enter 008 to connect it.
(3)When several extension calling host, the host phone rings and indication light flashes and display
screen shows calling ( 7 groups of calling are shown at the same time and the newest calling is placed on
the first place.) the first group of numbers is automatically connected at once after off-hook of the phone.
When subsystem is needed to switched, push the button of “next” button or directly enter subsystem

number and then hung up to end calling.(Note: at any time only one subsystem is involved in intercom.)
(4)Routing inspection: routing inspection should be carried out in hung-up condition. If phone is
off-hook or branches connecting main calling during the inspection, the inspection will be terminated.
Attentions should be paid when using. Routing inspection includes automatic inspection and manual
inspection. During automatic inspection, routing inspection for subsystem is made at 2:00 a.m. every day.
Manual inspection can be done at any time. If subsystem fault is found, the indication light will be bright,
at the same time fault elevator number will be recorded and query can be done in subsystem fault
information.
1. The indicating lamp for off-hook phone is lit. The host for control room is in off-hook status which can
monitor whether the handset of the phone has been put in proper place.
2. Phone indicating lamp being lit shows control room host has been switched to calling status. (Standby:
no this function)
3. Flashing of call indicating lamp shows call needed for handling.
4. Fault indicating lamp being lit shows subsystem has fault and cannot return signal during the routing
inspection.
5. Standby/emergency indicating lamp being lit, control room host is in hung up status, monitoring
whether the handle is put in proper place.
6. Standby/emergency indicating lamp being lit shows cutting off with electric supply and starting standby
power supply.
1. “confirmation/exit” key is used for the functions such as coordination for calling, entering and exiting
the main menu or submenu.
2. Call/test key is used for switching to the function of calling or testing call transfer. (Standby: no this
function)
3. Submenu/pages turning key, use the key when prompted after entering the submenu
4. Submenu/query key, the key is used to inquire the main menu repeatedly.
5. “△”is up key, “▽”is down key which coordinates submenu.
6. Next key is shortcut key used to switch next subsystem.
7. Browse key is shortcut key used to browse basic information of the machine.
8. Number key “0-9” is used for phone dialing and call dialing.
1. Subsystem fault information: query hand is on Subsystem Fault Information, press confirmation key to
enter and information screen shows the subsystem number with the fault (collect when inspecting), press
“submenu/page turning” key to enter next page, showing 12 pages at most.
2. Subsystem registration information: query hand is on Subsystem Registration Information. Press
confirmation key to enter and information panel shows subsystem code of the whole bus system (the
parameter should be preset.) Press submenu/ page turning key to enter next page showing 12 pages at
most.
3. Telephone registration information (standby: no this function)
4. Exit: query hand is on Exit and press confirmation key to exit the menu and return to standby status.
5. Start routing inspection: query hand is on Start Routing Inspection. Press confirmation key to inspect
the registered subsystem node. If faults are found, they should be recorded and preserved and inquired in
Subsystem Fault Information.
6. Clock resetting: query hand is on Clock Resetting. Press confirmation key to correct wrong indication
from the clock.
7. Setting of clock: query hand is on clock setting, show operation prompt after pressing confirmation key
to enter. Set time parameter when prompted.
8. Setting of telephone (standby: no this function.)
9. Overall situation registration: (set the menu only when routing inspection is needed), query hand is on
Overall Situation Registration. Press the confirmation key to enter and directly enter subsystem number
which should be tree-digit number, e.g. If there are 28 subsystems, enter 028. If the subsystem number is
uninterrupted 1-N, please use the function.
10. Register one by one: (set the menu only when routing inspection is needed)
Query hand is on Registering One By One. Press confirmation key to enter. Enter three digit subsystem
numbers to complete registration of single subsystem number. The function is used for registration of the
subsystem with disconnected numbers.
11. Overall situation deletion: (set the menu only when routing inspection is needed to be cancelled).
Query hand is on Overall Situation Deletion. Press confirmation key to delete total registered subsystem
information.
12. Delete one by one (set the menu only when routing inspection is needed to be cancelled). The query
hand is on the “delete one by one”, press the confirmation key to enter and directly enter three bits
subsystem number to complete the deleting of single subsystem number. The function can make
subsystem stop using temporarily.
13. main machine and submachine setting (standby: no this function)
14. C-D type bus setting: the product of our company is defaulted to type D, modification is not permitted.
15. Termination of emergency output: when query hand is Termination of Emergency Output, press
confirmation key to terminate emergency power output of control room host built-in power supply, at the
same time control room host enters power-off status. When control room host is needed to restart, the plug
is only needed to connect to electric supply in every country.

Machine room extension schematic diagram is shown as picture 4
1. Call three sub machines after off-hook of the machine room extensions.
2. Push the calling button after off-hook of machine room extension and automatically call back (with
display)/manual callback (without display) for five-way call after off-hook of machine room host.
3.Address setting
In the back of machine there are 8 bits dial switch to adopt binary system. The number rule is shown as
follows:

Note: address code is binary code; it must be set in a power-off state, otherwise setting is inoperative.

The extension is internal installation type; the sponge on the panel has two functions of buffering in
prevention of rocking and collision and partition between microphone and horn in prevention of voice
interference.
B. Installation attentions
During the installation the hollow-out of microphone and horn must aim at inlet and outlet of installation
panel, otherwise it will affect the quality of calling. It should be as far as possible from strong current
environment such equipments producing electromagnet interference as inverter, contactor and
electromagnet coil, etc. if conditions permit. When arranging of wire, traveling cable should keep away
from strong current line as far as possible. It is suggested to use shielded cable. As shown in picture 7
C. Wiring

AN1 and AN2 are connection output terminals of calling buttons. T1 and T2 correspond to T1 and T2
connecting machine room host. OV and 12V connect external DC 12V power supply. The positive and
negative of the power should be correctly connected, positive connecting 12V, negative connecting OV;
otherwise it will burn circuit board if polarity is reversed.

The connection of intercom system should be made in accordance with wiring drawing, the requirement of
which is shown as follows:
1. Four core shielded twisted pair cable of RVVPS2*2*0.75mm² should be adopted for the
communication wires between the host in control room and extension in machine room. Both ends of
shielded layers should be reliably earthed, and T1 and T2 is a twisted pair, Y1 and Y2 is also a twisted
pair.
2. As for 254-way control room host, 35 machine room extensions can be equipped within the length of
communication wire of 1500m.
3. As for 16-way control room host, 16 machine room extensions can be equipped within the length of
communication wire of 1500m.
4. In order to ensure the reliable communication, it is suggested not to increase the quantity of machine
room extension in the allowable range of length of bus .

All communication signal cables should be as far from interference source as possible (performance in
accordance with national standard GB50348-2004), signal cable shall go through weak electrical well but
not parallel with strong current (e.g. 220V residential power) or radio-frequency signal line (e.g. CATV,
strong signal audio cable). It is recommended to use bus type but not to use tree or star type. If the lines
are parallel, the distance shall be more than 30cm.
The installation position for system equipments should be far away from the environment such as voice,
light, heat, vibration to avoid the effect on the use performance of the system and should be damp proof
and dustproof

Swiping card direct arrival card, Set the designated floors of IC card swiping card
direct arrival where the elevator can directly arrive after IC card is swiped.
Swiping card press button card, if IC card is swiped and corresponding buttons are
pressed, the elevator will arrive the designated floors.
3. Firefighting function
When there is fire or earthquake disaster in the building, IC card system will be out of
control due to enabling elevator fire function and the state of riding the elevator without
card will be recovered.
Using of IC card brings the security but brings inconvenience for the visitors, so the
function of remote automatic calling is added. Its operation method is: after the visitor is
confirmed by the owner, the owner don't need to meet at the elevator door but only need
to press the remote calling button at home, the elevator will automatically open the
corresponding floor button for the visitor and not open other floor buttons. As long as the
visitor presses the corresponding floor buttons of the owner home, he will arrive at the
owner’s home. It is not only convenient for visiting and exchange of visits and a
guarantee for safety but also it has improved the intelligence of the lift.
5. Mandatory management function can set the opening or disabling for user’s cards of
corresponding room to elevator No. by wiping mandatory management card in master
card read area. Specific operation method is: when making mandatory management card,
first choose disabling, and then fill in the disabled user's room number at the room
number.
Mandatory management cards can disable using all of cards of corresponding room
number to elevator No. Manatory management cards can enable using all of cards of
corresponding room number to elevator No. If using cards is enabled again after
disabling, the user can use the card after firstly choosing the enabling when making
mandatory management card, filling in room numbers of the users to be enabled at the
room number and then wiping once more at the card reading area.
6. Card loss report function
If the card is lost, a new card with the same card number shall be made. After it is wiped
twice at main card reading area of corresponding elevator, the new card can be used by
the user. At the same time the lost card has been invalid.
7. Charging function
Exchange between charging by swiping the card and no charging is finished by
setting hardware. Setting unit price for riding in upper computer enables different
consumption prices for different floors reflecting the fairness of elevator using charging.

Note: when making a replacement card during the initialization click initialization so that
the window appears after the initialization, if you click“是”, then information of the card
used before in the controller will be "no record", if you click on the“否”, then the
corresponding information of the card used before remains the same and is still recorded
in the controller.
For example: the original card number is 00002, click the "yes" after initialization and
then make a new card with this card whose card number is 00003. When swiping card
00003, corresponding information for riding the elevator to card number 00002 in car
call controller will become "no record"; if click "no", wipe card 00003, corresponding
information for riding the elevator to card number 00002 in car call controller will not
change and continue to store inside car call controller.
12. Support password riding function (optional). Control corresponding floor button by
connecting the password keyboard to realize password riding.
13. Double support functions (optional) can be realized by connecting two heads by head
switchers and used for the elevator with opposite door double operation panels.

Elevator number is combined with PC software card making system and set for the users
who hold the card unable to enter the other units (elevator). People with card can only
use the elevator of corresponding elevator number and cannot use the elevators of
different elevator number. Maximum upper limit of elevator number is 127. If there are
two elevators in one unit which have the same tasks, the two elevators can be set to the
same number of elevator. The owner of this unit can only use the elevator of the unit, and
the card is invalid for other units.
Note: number of the elevator can only be set before IC card controller power-on, which
cannot be modified after power-on.
It not only can read the card but also can enter password to achieve the same effect as
swiping card without IC card.
(1)、User registration password: first, the user presses confirmation key * # 5 in turn,
then swipe user card (enter the state of password setting), at this time if the buzzer rings
four tones, it means the card password has been registered, now can only enter the
changes. If the buzzer rings two tones, users can enter 4-digit password for two
consecutive times, and press confirmation key to end. If user hears a tone of buzzer, it
means user password is registered successfully. If user hears four tones of buzzer, it
means the failure of password registration and the need of password re-registration in
accordance with the procedure.
Note: after entering the password registration state, indicator light will blink quickly, the
light is on for about 100 ms and the light is off for 100 ms.
(2)、 User password modification: First user presses modification button * 2 # in turn
and then swipe the card (enter password revision status), at the time if user hears four
consecutive tones, that means that password has not been registered, should be registered
first and changed again. If user hears two tones, the user should enter the initial 4-digit
password first and press confirmation key to end. If user hears a tone from buzzer, it
means that the initial password is correct. And then enter new 4-digit password for two
consecutive times and press confirmation key to end. When the user hears a tone from
the buzzer, it means the password is revised successfully. If four tones from the buzzer
are heard after entering initial password, it means initial password is not correct and
should be revised according to the steps.
Note: the light flickers after entering the state of changing the password, but the light is
on for 50 ms, the light is off for 1000 ms, namely 1s.
(3)、Use the password to open the floor: when the user directly enters the password
(room serial number + password), the incator light will be on all the time. When a tone
from the buzzer of password keyboard is heard, it will mean the password is correct.
When four tones from the buzzer are heard it will mean the password is not correct and
should be re-entered to use the elevator.

(4) Administrators modify the password: first of all, the administrator presses
modification button * 1 # and then enter the initial password. When two tones from the
buzzer are heard, it will mean that the initial password is correct. Continue to enter new
10-digit password twice and press confirmation key to end, when one tone from the
buzzer is heard, it means that password entered twice is correct and password is modified
successfully. If four tones from the buzzer are heard when entering initial password, it
will mean that initial password is not correct, and the password should be modified
according to the step. When two new passwords are not the same, four tones from the
buzzer will be heard, at this time re-enter password according to the step.
Note: set two administrator passwords before leaving factory, and they are both
1111111111. When the installation is completed, you must change administrator
passwords into user defined passwords to avoid unnecessary trouble. When entering the
state of administrator password modification the indicator light will flash slowly, the
light is on for 1000 ms, namely 1s, and the light is off for 1000 ms, namely 1s.
(5) Administrator uses the password to enable and disable IC card function:
administrator directly enters the password. When a tone from the buzzer is heard, it will
mean the password is correct. At this time when a tone from car call main controller is
heard, it will mean that IC card using state has been disabled; it means that the elevator
can be used without IC card. When two tones from car call main controller are heard, it
means that the elevator must be used with IC card or keyboard. When administrator
enters the password and hears four tones, it will mean the password is not correct and
password should be re-entered according to the step.
(6) Delete administrator password function: first make a card of deleting password in the
PC software. The card can only delete an administrator password at a time. As long as
the card is swiped on the antenna board once, when one tone from password keyboard is
heard, it will mean the deletion is successful. When four tones from the buzzer are heard
it will mean the deletion is failed. When the deletion is successful, administrator
password is initial password, namely factory password is 1111111111. After user deletes
the password, please change the password to avoid unnecessary trouble.
(7) Delete user password function: first make user card replacement in PC. Check mark
should be drawn in small box in front of DELETE PASSWORD, and it means that the
card is used for deleting the password in the keyboard of password. And then swipe the
card on antenna board once. When one tone from the buzzer is heard, the deletion will be
successful; when four tones from the buzzer are heard, the deletion will be failed.
3.3 car call serial port DB9
Using of IC card brings the security but brings inconvenience for the visitors, so the
function of remote automatic calling is added. Its operation method is: after the visitor is
confirmed by the owner, the owner don't need to meet at the elevator door but only need
to press the remote calling button at home, the elevator will automatically open the
corresponding floor button to the visitor and not open other floor buttons. As long as the
visitor presses the corresponding floor buttons of the owner home, he can arrive at the
owner’s home. It is not only convenient for visiting and exchange of visits and a
guarantee for safety but also it has improved the intelligence of the lift.
Pay attention to positive and negative poles of power supply in terms of 24V power input.
IN is switch signal input. The switch signal input is active input, so it must be connected
with the power supply. Pay attention to positive and negative. Delay output at OUT
visitor efficient communication; IN1 and IN2 monitor input of intercom communication
signal, IN1 connects to A pole of MAX485 and IN2 connects to B pole of MAX485.

While using management system software, we should know the use and composition
of the software and the operator can easily operate the software according to manual
introduction.
Sketch of system use: Operate in order if you use it for the first time.

2. Log in
1. After operating of the software, there will be a log-in frame which needs
manager’s name and password. If the system is installed for the first time, the
manager’s name is administrator and password: 888888.

2. When the manager’s name and password is confirmed, the main interface of
software will show you. Then the manager can operate normally.
3. Change password
Step three: input default password and new password. The new passwords input twice
should be the same.
Step four: click to complete changing password.
Step three: select the subscriber who wants to change password and
then set the subscriber’s using authority.
2. Add new system subscriber. Open the window subscriber management and click

input number、user name and allow this subscriber use after charging. Then set the
subscriber’s password and authority and click the button to complete the
operation of adding new subscriber.
6. Elevator information
Step one: click system maintains on platform of elevator control system software. The
picture is as follow:
1、Elevator serial No. : (refers to elevators number) it is commonly used in fully enclosed
community. It is prohibited to enter and leave other units. If there are two elevators in
one unit which have the same tasks, the two elevators can have the same numbers.
When making cards, the owner of the unit can only use the elevator of the unit. The
card is invalid in other units.
2、Elevator name: you can write randomly but you should remember the elevator serial
No. so as to select the corresponding elevator No. while making card.
3、Floor No.: you can write according to actual floor. (Include all floor controlled by
elevator IC card controller.) or write more than actual floor No.
4、Elevator type: ordinary elevator, trap door elevator and so on. Write according to
actual situation.
5、First floor: The lowest floor of the elevator; If the elevator reaches the first floor
underground which is the lowest floor, fill in -1 here.
6. Office number: not used at present.
7、Floor display name: normally don't write. Under the situation of card swiping limited
floor setting or card making if there is skip-floor write actual controlled floor
numbers, generally expressed in Arabic numerals, and use commas in the middle of
each number, for example: controlled floor is floor 1, floor 5, floor 7 to 10.
1,5,7,8,9,10 or 1, 5, 7-10 can be written here, and the information for the several
floors can be displayed while making card.
e.g.
Note: the name of elevator 1 is 1, the total control floor number is 20, and the type is
elevator with opposite door. Its first floor number is 1, office number is 1, 2, 3 (that is to
say, no. 1 for three elevators, under the condition of the Internet it is set to 1, 2, 3 office
number), the display name is the name of the floor to be controlled and elevator 1 is to
control the floor 1, floor4 and 7-24. Floor 2 and 3 are not controlled.
Step three: write and read the COM port connecting with the device according to
elevator actual situation.
Note:
1. Communication port of card reader should be different from that of remote.
2. Reader communication port: fingerprint collector, fingerprint data collector and
serial port writer are used at the port.
Remote communication port: IC data collector and remote networking
communication port are used at the port.

Input proprietor’s name and door number according to actual situation. There’s no
specific format. Room number is made by the room proprietor lives. Room number
has four bit, for example, the proprietor lives in No. 1, 2/F; his/her room number is
0201.
Card number is formed automatically. The proprietor can change the card number but
he/she can’t use the number he/she used before. Calling method includes manual
selection and automatic selection. It is called manual selection to press the buttons
after swiping the card.
It is called automatic selection to elevator buttons are automatically selected after
swiping the card. (Automatically choose two floors at most for automatic selection,
and the function is realized with corresponding hardware.)
Click on the right side to select elevator. If there is no elevator information, you
can add it in elevator information interface. Details please see VI elevator information.
The proprietor can set use floors by usable floor. Click on the left side to
select.
E-wallet can be used to store money the proprietor deposit on the card. Money can
be charged from E-wallet while you swipe card. The maximum money of every
system operator can be set. Details please see IV System subscriber foundation.

Usable date can be used to set functions according to week and date. If you select, it shows that that

Management card making is to make card which manager uses. It includes making
management card、mandatory management card , time card for setting button , collector time
card and card for reading proprietor data.
⑴ Management card
The interface is used to make card for managers. The manager can use this card to get the
specific floor.
This card is all pass card, the card is not divided into elevator number setting, time limit, and
monetary limitation. As long as the system is in normal state, the card can be used. The card is
generally distributed to property management personnel, special personnel. Floor authority can
be chosen according to needs when card is made.
Card making steps:

that the button will automatically lit up after swiping card. Usually multi authorized
floors need manually selecting. Usable floor is used to set the floor which the manager can
use. Click on the right to select. Card holder name is written according to actual
condition and has no requirement of format.
If the manager lost the management card, he/she can use this interface to re-issue card.
Step one: log on and enter the main interface.
Step two: click on the left side of the main interface to open the interface
for re-issuing management card.

filled out, in this time period, (if not click disable time) of the selected floor need not swipe the
card and press the button directly. If you click on the disable time, in this time period the
button for selected floors can not be lighted up.)

After creating the role you can set up the user. The operation is shown as follows:
Add "监管单位", use account of "监管单位", increase the information of "所属单位". Click "
新增" to increase the users, jump out of the following interface; Enter a user account, user type, the user
password item by item, confirm that the user password, user name, contact phone number, character
information (the role of the above is shown here), unit (only 监管单位 is optional, the other is requisite),
After saving the following dialogue box pop up, “新增用户信息操作成功”, click “确定”to
finish creating a new supervision user.click “注销用户”to quit system administrator user and
log in “监管单位”newly-built just now.

21.3.2 Instruction
a. Before tuning please confirm whether the signals of encoder are normal. While tuning if
door operates and stalls in the direction of closing door, please exchange wiring of motor or
encoder.
b. When tuning, if Err20 occurs, please exchange any two phases of UVW or retune.
c, When tuning, if the motor does not run or running direction is opposite to opening and
closing command, please exchange any two UVW phases, and retune. If the problem can
not be solved by retuning, change F215 values and tune learning again.
d. If Err19 occurs during identification of encoder position, please check if wiring is correct.
21.4 Door width self-learning
Choose F002=2:manual operation mode
Set F600=1:door width measuring
Press “OPEN” or “CLOSE” to start self-learning, after the actions of close limit, open limit,
close limit in turn, self-learning is finished.
In F602 and F603, check door width self-learning pulse number.
Note: when the encoder acquires the position signals of door open or close
limit, and door arrives at the position of door open or close limit move on to the
next step after pressing the button until door operator controller switches the torque.

The above picture is for equipment connecton. Every integrated machine in machine room
is equipped with a community monitoring board. Every PC machine in monitoring room is
equipped with a community monitoring board. 485 method communications shall be used
between integrated machine and monitoring room. Every control board of monitoring room
connects 24 monitoring boards of integrated machine at most.
23.3 Wiring setting instruction for community monitoring board
1)J11 is used for connecting upper computer; single plate in monitoring room connects
computer serial port; single plate in machine room connects NICE3000.

2)J12 is used for 485 communication networking. MOD+ of MIB in monitoring room and
machine room shall be in interconnection, and MOD- shall be in interconnection too.
3)J14 and J15 are matched termination. J14 and J15 in single plate in monitoring room shall
connect to ON, but J14 and J15 in single plate in machine room shall connect to OFF.
4)Implication of indicator light
A、OK: Single plate power supply and singlechip run normally
B、S1:Upper machine communicates normally

23.4 Wiring
In view of actural application working condition and 485 bus characteristics it is
recommended that wiring scheme is shown as follows:

(1)Party A lays bus and branch cables: four core shielded wire, every two wires are winded
together, wire diameter at least 0.75MM²
(2)A repeater is added for each additional 350 meters exceeding bus cable length, every
repeater works for at most six elevators; the branch cable length of every elevator is not more
than 140 meters
(3)Community monitoring quanity n≤24 units, at most three repeaters are equipped.
(4)Community monitoring board machine room OV, monitoring room OV and repeater OV
need to be connected reliably.
(5)Upper machine is provided by party A, which is equipped with COM port (serial port)
(6)Integrated machine CAN5 is DB9 communication interface and community monitoring
can’t exist with IOT function.
23.5 Software application

Double click the folder SoftResoure next to NEMCS.exe to make it be programme run resource
file which shall be in the same folder with NEMCS.exe.

(1)Elevator simulation shaft is on the left side. When the elevator runs, the elevator current
position will be dynamically displayed in this place.
(2)Elevator current status information is displayed in middle listbox and updated in real time.
(3)On the right side of the upper is car call information, the lower is for hall call information.
When outline border of car call is blue, it shows the floor where the elevator is. If it turns red, it
shows designated floors of car call. Hall call is shown in triangles. Designated calls are also

(1)UCMP detection method: door zone signal change from effective to ineffective is detected by
controller. At the same time door lock signal disconnects, if the elevator displacement exceeds
5cm, the elevator will report E65——UCMP fault and stop running.

Test condition: inspection switch is effective, the elevator stops in door zone, and the door lock
keeps closed.
Test method:
1) It is tested under the condition of effective inspection switch, door lock being closed in door
zone.
2)Main control board small keyboard trigger method: when F-8 on small keyboard is set to 7, it
will display E88, start up UCMP test function, disconnect door lock circuit, and namely pull out
the inserter XP16 in the control cabinet.
Handheld operator trigger method: when F3-24 is set to 2, it will display E88; start up UCMP test
function, at this time disconnects door lock circuit.
3)Manually press the up run or down run button, sealed door contactor output, door lock short
circuit, the elevator normally starts running in inspection state.
4)After the elevator gets away from door zone, safety circuit board will cancel door lock short
circuit, at this time the elevator will report E65(UCMP fault), and stop running.
Other instruction:
1) When the elevator is not in inspection state or door zone or door lock is not effective, it is not
effective to set F-8 to 7 and F3-24 to 2.
2)After F-8 is set to 7 or F3-24 is set to 2, automatically zero clearing after running once, and
automatically zero clearing after power-off.
2) Under the module of UCMP test, start acceleration curve in accordance with acceleration
F3-08. Set acceleration start time to 1.0s, end time to 1.0s to ensure average start speed is
more than 0.5m/s. If average speed is less than 0.5m/s, it can be realized by increasing
F3-08special deceleration and F3-11 inspection speed.
Reset condition:
1) E65 fault cannot automatically reset. Automatic reset cannot be done if power on after power
off.
(2)Door lock short circuit detecting point: increase high voltage input point: 07 door lock short
circuit detecting point; low voltage input point: 81 door lock short circuit detecting point.
1) After door open output for three seconds, the elevator detects door lock short circuit signal is
effective, and reports E53 fault (low voltage subcode 105 high voltage 106), the elevator
cannot run, the fault need manual reset.

2) When the elevator opens door, the system outputs door sealing signal or when sealed door
contactor is output during pre-opening or releveling, time delay 2s, door lock short circuit signal
is detected, if it is abnormal, the elevator will report E53 fault (subcode 107), fault needs to be
reset manually.
3) If door lock short circuit point is chosen, but connection or disconnection time does not reach 1
second, after door close limit, E53 fault is prompted and character code 108, fault needs to be
manually reset, BIT14 of function code F8-19 can close the function and start by fault.
(3)Braking force self-monitoring function: synchronous machine can start the function when the
requirements of the first modification sheet of GB/T7588 are met. Asynchronous machine doesn’t
need startup.
1) In the state of inspection set control board small keyboard F-8 to 8, or set handheld operator
big keyboard A1-19Bit0 to 1. Test can be conducted when controller small keyboard displays
E88. At this time, the elevator shields car and hall calls and door opening, keep door lock
connected, and automatically close the door if the door is not closed.
2) After the door lock is effective, begin the test to make sealed star contactor, running contactor
output, and brake contactor not output.
3)F7-09 displays the test result. 1 stands for being qualified, 2 for being unqualified. Report E66
when it is not modifiable and unqualified and the fault cannot be reset. Fault reset: it is needed
that braking force detection is done again, and it cannot reset until the result is 1.
4)Hall call and door function revert to normal when the detection is finished.
Condition1: elevator normal braking force detection: under the condition of no car and hall calls,
detection is conducted after elevator energy saving time or three minutes.
Condition 2: mandatory braking force detection: judge 10 minutes in advance, time of F7-10 is
not more than 10 minutes. Elevator buzzing prompt time is 30S. Buzzing can be off by BIT13 of
function code F8-19. After 30S, hall call registration is retained but car call is canceled. Door
open and close can be available. Begin detection after closing door.
Count down function, the unit is minute, judge whether it meets the condition 1 when
exceeding 12 hours. If the detection is done, countdown function code reset 24 hours; if the
detection is not done, mandatory detection is done in condition 2.
1、 During detection hall call prompts fault, big keyboard does not prompt the fault and small
keyboard prompts fault. Hall call can be registered but cannot respond; car call is canceled and

To make elevator stop more accurately during releveling and return leveling, add the function.
Pulse return leveling is on by default, and pulse releveling is off by default.
First function code A1-16 is pulse stop estimate adjustment whose unit is mm and modifiable.
A1-17 is half the length of leveling plate, Read Only and taken as reference (obtained by self
learning). The value A1-16 is the value A1-17 minus 10 and can be self-adjusted on site. When
BIT2 of A1-10 is 0, return leveling pulse stop function is on by default, when BIT2 of A1-10 is 1,
return leveling pulse stop function is off by default. When BIT3 of A1-10 is 1, releveling pulse
stop function is off by default, when BIT3 of A1-10 is 0, return leveling pulse stop function is on
by default. When BIT4 of A1-10 is 0, A1-16 predicted value function is on by default, when BIT4
of A1-10 is 1, predicted value adjustment is off by default.
To observe the parameters directly such as running speed, direction, floor and so on during
manual opening brake and sliding test, add several groups of parameters which shall be easy to
observe and understand and can be operated by unprofessional persons.
(1) For example, the elevator on first floor starts running up, after inserting the operator in the
state of leveling, press the key “enter”, LED4 will display running direction, up run is
shown as the following picture, LED3 will display leveling signal, LED2 will display high
level of current floor,and LED1 will display low level of current floor.
(2)After pressing the key “enter” again, enter display interface of elevator speed.

(3)After pressing the key “enter” again, enter display interface of elevator running frequency,
first display low level and then display high level after pressing the key “enter” again.
(4)After pressing for four times, exit newly increased interface, and press the key “enter” to
cycle previous display.
