If in the BOQ mentioned that to do work of tiling/sanitary fitting work. If the client is
not sure about specification of material i.e. color, size, brand in that case PC rate is
used as basic rate for rate analysis.
E.g. 1200mm x 1200mm x 12mm thick matt finish Vitrified tile (Basic Rate: Rs.800/-
per Sqm)
710*265*660 mm floor mounted water closet toilet seat (Basic Rate: Rs.4800/piece)

If the work is not in contractor scope (BOQ) but the client asks/request to do extra
work, then the contractor will be carried out this work by departmental labor. Then the
client will be paid to contractor as per daywork.
E.g. If the client asks to do repairing work which is not scope of contract, then the
contractor will be carried out this work by departmental labor. If this work required 2
meson & 2 helpers for 8 hrs. Then the client pays to contractor as per= labor no’s x
working hrs. x labor/day rate
