1. PURPOSE
This procedure covered to provide general instruction for the performance of Settlement
Check of the Tank on Cilacap Resid Fluid Catalytic Cracking (RFCC) Project in
according with API Standard 650 and Project Specification as follow :
Water filling test for Fixed Roof Tanks
Amine Storage Tank (106-T-501)
Sour Water Storage Tank (107-T-501)
Observation Tank (152-T-501)
Fuel Oil Tank (157-T-501)
Cos Solvent Storage Tank (103-T-501)
Caustic Tank (110-T-501)
Spent Caustic Tank (165-T-501)

3. PREPARATION& RESPONSIBILITY
3.1 PT.Indo Tehnik Industri here in after called PT.ITI as the Tank Manufacturer shall
perform the hydrostatic test responsibility for :
a. Preparing the Tank for testing. This shall include removal all trash, debris,
grease, oil, weld scale, weld spatter and any other foreign matter from the
interior and the roof of the Tanks.
b. Make sure that all fabrication and erection inspection work have finished and
conformed include all joint welds and NDE. Ensure all of measuring
Equipments have valid calibration.
c. Furnishing, laying and removal all lines from the water source and the water
disposal point (maximum 50 m from the Tank point).
d. Filling and Emptying the Tank.

Note : Maximum filling rate shall not exceed API 650 requirement para. 7.3.6.5
7. Hold the water filling 24 (Twenty four) hours minimum for hydrostatic test in
maximum level of water filling as per table above for each tanks.

5. REPAIRS
If there are any leakages occurred during the test or/and significant permanent
deformation, this area shall be repaired as per disposition plan. And than re-Hydro test
shall be performed at the direction of Adhi-GS, Pertamina and MIGAS (If required).

7. REPORT.
A Settlement check report form (paragraph 11) and data shall be prepared and fullfilled
by ITI QA/QC Manager or his designer, and shall be approved by Adhi-GS, Pertamina
and MIGAS (If required).
