This document outlines the modules and course outcomes for a wireless sensor network course. The modules cover sensor network concepts and applications, localization and tracking approaches, wireless communications including medium access control protocols, routing techniques, sensor network databases, and security issues. The course aims to help students understand common wireless sensor node architectures, localization and tracking in wireless sensor networks, MAC protocols developed for wireless sensor networks, and routing protocols developed for wireless sensor networks.
