NSTP1- CWTS is a mandatory course for male and female students in any baccalaureate degree or in at least two year’s technical vocational course

CLASS POLICIES ATTENDANCE POLICY : For a 1.5 hours meeting held twice a week: Students are allowed to have a maximum of 6 absences from the course for the
whole semester. The 7th absence from class will constitute a ground for dropping any student from the course. For a 3 hours once a week meeting,
maximum allowable absences is equivalent to 3 absences for the whole semester. Students coming in after the 15-minute allowance shall be marked
late. Three (3) lates will be considered as one (1) unexcused absence. Please refer to the most current copy of your Student Handbook for
clarification.

GRADING POLICY : The College uses percentage grades which is set at base 40. The passing mark for any subject is 75%.

OTHER MATTERS:
 Students will be seated alphabetically in class. A seat plan must be accomplished.
 Students are encouraged to actively participate in class activities and keep up as class progresses.
 Major exams and quizzes can be made up only when pre-arranged and accompanied by an admission slip signed by the Dean / Program
Coordinator.
 Make-up quizzes or exams must be taken within the week after the scheduled exam date.
 Academic honesty policy is to be adopted and implemented in this class. The professor has the prerogative to give a grade of 40% for copied
works.
 Students’ are required to have consultations with the professor. The number of consultation visit/s may vary depending on the student’s need/s
and whenever the professor deemed it necessary. Request for consultation is required and all consultations must be scheduled. Consultation
slip/s will be issued by the professor to students needing interventions.

There are six (6) basic requirements of the NSTP-CWTS. These include:
a. Lecture/Discussion/Consultation Sessions/Seminars/ Training / NSTP Graduation
b. Quizzes/Recitations/Assignments/ Critical Reflective Writing
c. Project Consultations with partners / NSTP-CWTS facilitators
d. Project Implementation (includes proposal, defense, documentation)
e. Participation in community development activities and projects / Community Work / Immersion
f. Project Evaluation

The computation of grades by semester is shown below:
