CBC MBK QR Steps v2 Fin
Step 1: Login to your China Bank Mobile App and select “My Accounts” from the left menu.
Step 2: Swipe left the Account you wish to generate a QR code, and click on “QR Code”
Step 3: Enter a nickname you want to appear for your QR and click “Generate QR Code”
Note:
- QR nickname should be a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 16 numeric, alpha or
alphanumeric characters.
Step 4: The successfully generated QR Code for your China Bank Account will appear and will be
automatically added to your list of generated QR Code. Save your QR Code in your device, or
have it scanned, or share it via Bluetooth or other sharing applications (installed in your mobile
device) to receive funds. No need to provide your account details.
Tip: You can send your generated QR Code straightaway by tapping on the share button. Also, to
use your generated QR Code of your account for another transaction in the future, click on
“Save to Device” to easily access your QR Code in your mobile’s gallery/photos app without
logging in to China Bank Mobile Banking App.
To generate a QR Code through “QR Code”, simply follow the steps below:

How do I transfer funds via QR Code?
With the new feature of the China Bank Mobile Banking App, you can now transfer funds via QR Code
and lessen your worry of entering a wrong account number. Simply follow the steps below to transfer
funds via QR Code:
Step 1: Login to your China Bank Mobile App and select “Scan to Pay or Transfer” from the
menu.
- Note: Currently, only China Bank, AUB, LANDBANK, Paymaya, RCBC, and UnionBank
are available for QR Transfer.
If you choose to “Import from Gallery”, select and click on the QR Code that you want to
transfer to from your gallery/photos.

Step 3: After successful scanning of QR, you will be redirected to the transfer screen. Provide
the additional transfer details required:
- Note: For transfer to Other Bank, there will be a charge of P10.00 per transaction.
Step 6: Enter the OTP you will receive on your registered mobile number and click NEXT.
You have successfully transferred funds using a QR code. Scan to Pay or Transfer can also be
accessed through the left menu in the login screen.
Tip: Shake your mobile device in the Login, Dashboard, My Accounts, Pay or Transfer or in other
screens to easily access the Scan to Pay or Transfer feature. You can also click on the “Scan to
Pay or Transfer” icon on the login screen.
What is “Shake to Scan”?
Easily access “Scan to Pay or Transfer” feature when you SHAKE your mobile device! Here’s how:
Step 1: Open your China Bank Mobile App and SHAKE your mobile device in Login screen or any
of the non-input, confirmation, OTP and successful screens:
- Note: Currently, only China Bank, AUB, LANDBANK, PayMaya, RCBC, and UnionBank
are available for QR Transfer.
If you choose to “Import from Gallery”, select and click on the QR Code that you want to
transfer to from your gallery/photos.

Step 3: After successful scanning of QR, you will be redirected to the transfer screen. Provide
the additional transfer details required:
- Note: For transfer to Other Bank, there will be a charge of P10.00 per transaction.

accessed through the left menu in the login screen.
How to view, save or share your generated QR Code?
All successfully generated QR Codes are saved in your China Bank Mobile Banking App. Here’s how you
can manage your generated QR Codes:
Step 2: Click from the list the accounts the QR Code you want to view.
From here, you may also save the QR Code to your device’s Gallery/Photos, or
Step 2: Swipe left the account of the QR Code you want to edit and click Edit.
Step 3: Enter a new unique nickname for your QR and click “Update Nickname”
