We have been helping with the cake, And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice
And licking out the pan, cold in the snow,
And wrapping up our packages, Stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it

We have hung our stockings up, It came without ribbons. It came without

And now there’s nothing more to do, It came without packages, boxes or bags.

Wait. Then the Grinch thought of something he

What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t
come from a store?
