Job Description
As a key member of our sales team, the Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for actively driving and
managing the technology evaluation of the software/hardware sales process. Working in conjunction
with the Territory Sales team you’ll be the key technical advisor for all aspects of Pre/Post-sales
support within a designated territory. This includes, but not limited to: High-level system
recommendations, design and implementation support, Software and hardware
demonstrations/presentations, specific product training, reviewing RFP/RFI/RFQ documents,
attending shows and working closely with the Territory Sales team in other aspects to help drive the
PIPSA business. The SE will work cohesively across multiple departments to ensure that
expectations and performance goals are met in a timely and professional manner.

Basic Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the physical security or video surveillance market.
• Self-motivated and focused individual with a passion for technology and an aptitude for
customer satisfaction.
• Strong negotiation and customer facing skills.
• Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Has a pleasant, friendly style of verbal and written communication.
• Intimate knowledge and experience with Windows troubleshooting tools and techniques.
