before that we will have a game first. I
am going to group you into three
groups. This will be the “MoonTeam”
and this side will be the “Sun Team”
I will give each team a chart with
pictures. All you have to do is to
identify and label the pictures.

representation of our earth.

Our Earth’s actually rotates from east
to west or counter clockwise and it is
not standing straight but actually it is
tilted about 23.5 degrees.
Do you have an idea about how
much does it takes to complete one
rotation of our planet?
Yes, Erika?
Erika: The period of one complete
rotation takes 23 hours, 56 minutes
and 4.3 seconds or shall we say 24
hours a day.
Does the wind also change when
earth rotates? Mardi?
Excellent!
Since our earth is tilted one of the
Hemisphere just half of our planet is
leaning towards the sun and half of it
is leaning away.
