1 | cite cont Vinay R. ChhadvaThe power to heal exists both in Nature and within the human body itself. It is this power
that Nature Cure uses to build health.
Nature Cure is based on the belief that an individual's health should be in harmony with the
principles of Nature. Nature Cure views health holistically: that is, it looks at health a
balance of physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being.

cernWhat is the procedure for admission? How long is one expected to stay?
The therapies provided at Navjivan can help people with acute or chronic disorders, as well
as those who are only seeking to rejuvenate their body and mind, Youcan reserve your stay
at the Centre by writing to the Administration, or through e-mail or over the telephone. You
will have to provide a brief medical history and also send a copy of the latest medical
reports, This is only for people with chronic illnesses. Others can simply contact us and fix
the dates for treatment. Once admission is confirmed, it is advisable to make a payment of
Rs, 5000 per person which will be adjusted once you complete your stay with us. The
payment can be done at any of the Sia ArtJewellery stores across India. You can also deposit
this amount at any HDFC Bank, into account number 02042560001880 (Navjivan Nature
Cure Centre). International customers can pay through the website www.nncc.co.in
Please Note Condition of Cancellation: We will deduct 50% of the amount cancelled before
4 days of arrival and 100% after that or onno show.
How long you will have to stay will be indicated to you by your doctor at your first
consultation. The duration of treatment is not uniform for everybody, A minimum stay of 7
days is essential. Those with acute disorders are generally advised to stay for 15 to 21 days;
those suffering chronic conditions may be required to stay longer, for 21 to 40 days, and also
repeat their visits at least two more timesa year.
Is residential treatment compulsory? Are out-patient facilities available?
Yes, residential treatment is compulsory, simply because Nature Cure works on the entire
body and takes time to heal and rejuvenate it, OPD treatment, therefore, has very limited
results.
OPD treatment may be possible in special cases. However, this is done only with prior
appointment, and charged at a substantially higher rate.
Can I have visitors while I'm at the Centre?
Yes, family members and friends are welcome. Their stay and food will be charged
separately. Any treatment they may want to have will be charged at OPD rates. Visitors are
also expected to follow the rules and regulations of the Navjivan Nature Cure Centre.
Can I continue to take my regular medication along with Nature Cure?
Yes, please do bring your medicines with you. At your first consultation, your doctor will
advise which of these medicines you may continue to take during your treatment at
Navjivan. Similarly, at the time of discharge, you can once again discuss with your doctor
what medication you will need to continue after you leave.
Are mobile phones allowed?
Yes, you may carry your cell phone with you. However, you are not allowed to use it during
your treatments and while participating in any of the common activities such as the evening
prayer or lecture. What do Ineed to carry with me?
You will need to bring your medical records and latest reports. Also remember to bring any
medication you may be taking. Since you cannot be sure of the duration of your stay, it isa
good idea to carry adequate stock of all your medicines.
Do carry your own towels, napkins and personal toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner,
washing powder, etc.). These are not provided by us. Every room has a clothesline, so you
could do your own laundry — but don't forget to bring some clothes-clips if you don't want
the wind to carry away your clothes! A torch would also be useful if you go out for a walk in
the late evening.
Bring casual and comfortable clothes. It'sa good idea to bring along a sturdy pair of walking
shoes.
We do keep you busy throughout the day. But for those hours that you may have to spend in
your room, you could bring along some reading material. As far as possible, do not carry an
work related papers with you. The time you spend at the Centre should be your own
personal time, to rest and relax, to rejuvenate and revitalize yourself.WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Once you reach Navjivan, meet the person at the reception desk to report your arrival. You
will then be escorted to the room reserved for you. After you have refreshed yourself, call
Reception (number 111) to find out when you can meet the doctor for your first
consultation. You will be given an appointment with the Chief Medical Officer or the

No treatment is provided on Sundays, except for the abdoniinal mud pack. The meal schedules,
however, remain the same. Can leave the Centre during my stay if Ihave work outside?
We generally recommend that you do not leave Nayjivan at any time during your stay. Also,
it is best to take time off from work in order to achieve maximum results. However, if itis —
absolutely essential, you can go out on Sundays (yhen there’ is no treatment). In
specialcases, you may be allowed to go out occasionally for a short while in the afternoon, _
but please remember that this requires prior permission from your doctor.
What if 1 cannot cope with the diet prescribed? -
Your doctor will prescribe a diet in consultation with you. So do discuss your doubts with
your doctor and get them clarified. Generally, the diet will be structured in a way that will
make the transition to a new eating pattern as comfortable as possible. Despite this, if you
still find that you cannot cope with your diet, please do contact your doctor and see whether
any change is possible. What is important is to make sure that you do not change ce diet
on your own and that you follow the doctor's advice at all times.
Is fasting compulsory?
No, fasting is only recommended in some cases as part of treatment.
How much free time will Ihave?
Apart from the treatments specified for you, your daily schedule will include several
common activities such as yoga, prayer and meditation, talks on health topics, and walks.
But sufficient time is also provided in the daily schedule for rest and relaxation, so you will
have some free time. And since most activities do not take place on Sundays, that's a day off,
too!
Isit compulsory to participate in all the activities?
We try not to ‘enforce’ rules strictly, whether related to diet or to participation in our daily
activities. So nothing really is ‘compulsory’. But we do strongly recommend that you follow
the prescribed diet and treatment programmed and participate in as many activities as
possible. Every activity is intended to revitalize you in all respects — physically, emotionally,
socially and spiritually
What about prayers? What ifthey clash with my religious beliefs?
The prayers at Navjivan transcend religion. They are prayers for universal well-being, They
emphasize the oneness and harmony of all beings in Nature. The few minutes devoted to
prayer every evening are a time for quiet reflection, an expression of loving kindness and
compassion towards ourselves and those around us.What can Ido during my free time?
