    SPECIAL NOTES

    The Contractor is required to check the numbers of the pages of these Bills of Quantities and
    should he find any missing or in duplicate or figures indistinct he must inform the Principal
    Secretary; State Department of Public Works, Head Office, Ngong Road, Nairobi at once and have
    the same rectified.

    Should the Contractor be in doubt about the precise meaning of any item or figure for any reason
    whatsoever, he must inform the Principal Secretary; State Department of Public Works, Head
    Office, Ngong Road, Nairobi in order that the correct meaning may be decided before the date for
    submission of tenders.

    No liability will be admitted nor claim allowed in respect of errors in the Contractor’s Tender due to
    mistakes in the Specifications which should have been rectified in the manner described above.
