I. OBJECTIVES
The students should be able to:

 To identify ways on how to take care of the reproductive organs


 To understand the importance of taking care of our reproductive organs.
 To practice proper hygiene to care of the reproductive organs

III. PROCEDURES
A. Preparatory Activities
1. Prayer
Good morning, class!
Please all stand for our prayer.
(Prayer)

Is there any absent for today?

B. Developmental Activities
1. Review of the past lesson
Yesterday , we discussed about the Female Reproductive Organs. I prepared an activity
to check if you really listen well last meeting. Name the parts of the female reproductive organs.

2. Motivation
Before we proceed to our next topic, let’s watch this video.

3. Presentation of the Lesson


-What is the video all about?
Very good! Today, we’re going to discuss about the proper way on taking care of our
reproductive organs.
Based on the video, How do you think we can take Care of our Reproductive Organs ??
-The teacher will present the list how to properly take care of reproductive organs.
Proper Care for Boys
1.Always wash your external reproductive organ with mild soap and water when taking a bath.
2.Do not borrow underwear from anybody.
3. Always change your underwear daily or as often as needed.
4. Always wear clean underwear.
5. Consult a doctor when you have problems with your reproductive organs.
Proper care for Girls
• Females in puberty experience menstruation every month. Thus, girls need to make sure that
their reproductive organ is always clean. They use a sanitary napkin to absorb the blood released from
a vagina during menstruation. It is also used to prevent staining of clothes during this time of the month.
1. Always wash your external reproductive organ with mild soap and water regularly.
2. Do not borrow underwear from anybody.
3. Always wear clean underwear and change it daily.
4. Use a feminine wash three times a week.
5. Talk to your parents and consult a doctor when you have problems with your reproductive
organs.
6. Wear a sanitary napkin whenever needed.

4. Application
Group Activity
(Group your students into 3) Give an envelope that have specific task:
Group 1- Draw ways that will show how we can take care of our reproductive organs.
Group 2- Sing a song about proper way of taking care of our reproductive organs.
Group 3 – Act a situation wherein you can show how we take good care of our reproductive
organ.
5. Generalization
Class How can we take care of our reproductive organs?
What is the importance of taking care of our reproductive organs?
How can we practice proper hygiene in our every day lives?

IV. EVALUATION
Identify which practices are meant for girls, and which are for boys and which can be
practiced by both boys and girls. Check the chart below.

2. Why is it important to take care of our reproductive organs?
