Four (8) moderated tests and two (2) specific application oriented assignments will be conducted to give a total of si (6) assessments The weighting of MCT s and SAOA s willbe as follows: Average of moderated tests: 80% of final mark. Average of assignments: 20% of final mark {A student will have to obtain a minimum overall average of 50% to pass a course, on the condition that all four tests were written, and the two assignments were handed in on time. If after all the assessment components have been done and a student fails to abtain an average of 50% as final mark, the student will have to sit forthe end of semester supplementary test. The mark obtained in such test will replace the lowest of the class tests marks (MCT) previously obtained. An undone or uncompleted assessment caries a zero mark. The supplementary test will cover the whole course syllabus COURSE POLICIES General Academic Policies: Its the student's responsiblity to be familiar with and adhere to NUST's Policies.
