    AUXILIARY EXAMINATION (FEBRUARY 2020)

    It is intimated to all concerned that auxiliary examinations are scheduled to be conducted


    w.e.f. February 11, 2020 (tentatively). Following students are eligible to apply:
    (i) Any student who have earned ‘E’ or 'I' or 'RA' grade/s in the course/s for which
    examinations were held in December 2019 or in any of the previous semesters.
    (ii) The students of all programmes or those students who have already completed the
    normal duration of such programme are also allowed to take 'E' or ‘I’ Grades earned
    by them in any of the previous semesters.
    (iii) The students having ‘RA’ grade/s are required to attempt such grade/s in this
    auxiliary examination. If a student fails to appear or does not clear the ‘RA’ grade
    condition, then his/her grade shall be changed to ‘E’ grade.

    For this auxiliary examination students register and appear for a single examination and they
    will not have to attend any classes. A course instructor will, however, be designated to
    conduct the examination and guide the student.

    Date of start of examinations : 11.2.2020

    Grading in the auxiliary exam shall be done as under:


     The auxiliary examination shall be treated as reconduct of the end semester examination of
    that course.
     The grades shall be awarded by substituting the end semester marks with the marks secured in
    auxiliary examination.
     Candidates appearing with ‘E’ grade can be awarded ’C-‘ as the maximum grade and for 'I'
    Grade students can get any grade.
     Students (2017 batch onwards), if passes the subject having ‘RA’ grade by clearing his/her 25%
    criteria of MST + EST by appearing in the auxiliary exam, his/her EST marks will be replaced by
    auxiliary exam marks subject to a condition that MST + EST should not exceed the 25% of the total
    marks of MST + EST with the modified marks, student shall be awarded grade as per the grade limits
    applied during the normal course.
     The cut off limits of the exams conducted in concerned semester shall be taken into
    consideration for award of grades.

    The interested students are required to fill an application form, available in the Academic Section
    (also available on Institute website), and deposit the same in the Academic Section as per schedule
    given above alongwith examination charges @ Rs 1500/- per course failing which they will not be
    allowed to sit in this examination. The examinations will be held as per details given above.
